Akira's Items - disappointment : (

The other day I got my last Akira Item, the the red Hakkyoku top.

Now my items are 100% so I guess there is no Kabuki make-up, no giant buddha, no taiko drum, no swords other than the wooden one and the crappy katana.

Was anybody else let down by Akira's items? God, he has a gazillion hair cuts and 90% of them really suck, I wish he had had more interesting items instead...

You can get the kabuki make-up from one of the DLC packs (I forget which one) along with another bunch of crappy haircuts in hideous colours

 

you can make him look like akuma, that's all you need.

 

I do dig akuma and I've seen that the kabuki make-up is indeed in the 1st downloadable content package.

theres no akuma hair in the 360 version, is there?

 

all the items are a disappointment in the 360. All we got are version B items.

 

I coulda sworn I saw plague rocking the akuma hair. but I might be mistaken

 

Yep there's no Akuma hair and all we got is Ver B items like LA said.

My A and B costumes resemble Ryo Sakazaki and Mr. Karate [aka Takuma Sakazaki complete with grey hair and Tengu mask]

Some of my friends saw the Gray Akira and were like DUDE, WHAT'S MR. KARATE IN THIS GAME FOR?!

[grey hair and Gi, X chest scar, suntan (light, not tropical), swept back grey hair, clogs]

I give him the light plates for fun, but I use the wrist beads if I wanted an akuma-ish Mr. Karate

 

lol, sounds identical to how mine looks! I used the long black hair and face paint for costume B though.
