Akira's Super Sgpm

This was posted on the 1/60th website and was pointed out to me by Plasma recently. Apparently, Akira has another kind of canned Sgpm. This canned Sgpm is done by doing ST(or guard breaks)---> f,f,f,f,d,f+p.

The stats on it are: MC +21, normal hit +13, standing block +2, crouch block +6.

Here's a vid from 1/60th showing akira doing ST--->f,f,f,f,d,f+P(MC) and getting a guaranteed Yoho:

/versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ! That's weird! I assume it can only be done after a ST (Meaning no regular [6][6][6][6][2][6]+[P])?

So now an Akira player can ST and then force a "new" small guessing scenario.... Dash then throw; dashX2 then sgpm (if they don't evade but block you still get advantage); dash then launch a SDE or another move with a different execution time (to catch evaders) or something (Plus the old canned sgpm > m-dlpm if they don't struggle fast enough).

So basically, another harmless "glitch" /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

EDIT: I guess I meant it seems a little hard to setup a super c-sgpm to hit as an mC or MC... Or is it?

One dollar for the first person to post a competitive match between rough equals featuring guard break or stumbling trip to wacky single palm to yoho. Following the yoho appropriately nets you a buck fifty and if you win the match you get $3 and a date with my sister. /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Jerky...hmmm...considering that your most favorite of all fairy tales is Rumpelstiltskin, I have to assume you would approve. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

kyasao told me about this technique when he was in NYC. The conditions for do it is sooooooooo strict it's really not worth trying, unless you are trying to make a mockery of your opponent, a desperate plea to catchup when you have nothing else to loose, or simply trying to look good. It can be done, but it's very, very, very, very, very, very difficult to do consistantly.
oh I forgot to mention... according to kyasao, the person has to be struggling to get out of ST. No struggle no major counter hit!

Anybody else mess around with this? I played abunch today but was more interested in some reliable damage than an lp's worth followed by some maddashing but after a little training mode it looks almost usableish kinda maybe. I was getting the canned sgpm from one, two & three forward OR back dashes. Funky. I'm gonna have the coolest Akira at my house! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

edit: Just FYI...I had a much harder time doing dashes to canned sgpm after guard break & as a bonus( /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) I was able to get the canned dbpm after the ST and a couple forward dashes. blah blah blah.
