Another new location test...

Sega has put in motion another location test starting today (05/18).

Here are some details from the main jp page.

VF.net page has been updated with access to the new VF5 location test.

You will not be able to update your card from either VF4FT or the previous location tests; however, players of the previous location tests will be eligible for special gifts from Sega in the final version.

Card data starting from this location test will be compatible with the final version, meaning that the data started now will be able to carry over to the final version.

Players of VF4FT and active members of VF.net will also be able to receive special gifts from Sega. You will lose this priviledge if you terminate the service from now until the time the gifts are issued, so please beware.

Ikebukuro GIGO
High Tech Land Sega Shibuya

 

Good news. That means more clips! /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It also means that Sega are almost finished with the final version (well, more likely Ver. A) so perhaps we'll see a move list soon, either on the official site or in a magazine (that someone can scan for us /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif).

Sega recently took down the individual character pics that depicted new moves from the official site. My theory is that they were incomplete technically and possibly visually (the graphics engine had been tweaked since etc) so I hope they put up something more substantial.
