Any information regarding Taka

Does anyone know or has anyone heard any new statements regarding Taka's return (or not) to vf5? I would love to know.

I've started VF with 4, so I've never had the chance to play Taka? How did he play? He must have had a serious weight advantage, I assume (more than Jeff, Wolf?). And I think I read somewhere that he had some additional size advantage (something like, but not really like, the armor advantage that Sentinel, Juggie, etc has)?

Anyway, I'm for some reason drawn to the fat ugly slow arse guys (not in the way that sounded /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif ), having grown up with 2Ds on Gief, Birdie, Hugo and the like (never really played Honda for some reason), and I'd like to see his return as well.

 

hmm actually i'm wondering myself, what kind of character was taka? thx for any information you guys can come up with

my apologies, too. i didn't even know there was a vf3 section. silly me. anyway, so he did have some sentinel/juggie/potemkin kind of size/armour factor- with the same advantages and disadvantages- cool. many, i wish this guy does make a come back.

He was big, yes. He also had fast hands, yes. But above all, he had a great stage and music and he was kinda rare in arcade mode in VF3tb (DC). I loved him and want him back. *Wobbling fat animation-yeah!* /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I never played taka and i was wondering, it is possible
to get a desent combo damage if u float taka? /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif
because is so havy!
I hope I'm not asking a question that show up in taka's FAQ

that was incredibly witty. i thought the part about big, dumb and stupid were especially well thought out and insightful.

i also think your marduk vs. vanessa signature is fantastic and brilliantly conceived. the double use of the term "lose," in its common and metaphoric meaning was nothing short of genius and may become a legend in its own time.

Indeed! Such an honour to meet such a man who is equal in brilliance and momentum as myself, such delicasies are rare for the witty. I hope many take the path you have Mak-Daddy(Yet another pun!) and I wish all those with brilliant minds for such flaming raise their hand for the banishing of Taka.
