any news on VF4EVO in NYC arcades?

I have lost touch the past two weeks. Has anyone enjoyed VF4 EVO in NYC arcades yet? chinatownfair.com is gone; the arcade is still oen but their siter is kaput. PA Leisure Time Bowling has not returned calls and www.broadwaycity.com has not made a peep in weeks. Is Bar Code stil open and did they get VF4 EVO? thx.

Word has it that Andy bought a Jap Evo kit to put in Chinatown Fair. It should be up by next week. Cross your fingers. /versus/images/icons/shocked.gif

I just talked to andy, and he says that he just "directed" the owner into getting and evo kit. Him and I did, however, purchase a couple of pairs of japanese style sticks and buttons to donate to the chinatown fair arcade for their evo machine.

Post in this thread when eta of EVO for our playing is ready. I'm prepared to get there this Saturday for VF4 EVo breakfast battle! Funny, when I read <font color="pink"> ZeroChan</font color> 's description of playing chibita-san it reminded me of playing you, hiro, pic and Andy. You guys would routinely allow me to win a round, often by doing the most amazing suicide moves like dancing out of ring, using a throw that would result in my character landing last and winning round /versus/images/icons/blush.gif , etc. I'm totally stoked for VF4 EVO! We owe you guys big time. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif /versus/images/icons/smile.gif /versus/images/icons/grin.gif

 

I heard that chinatown is getting it today.

I will. Atleast the new sticks gotted installed into the current machine which I'd just played a half hour ago. Luckily for me I work near chinatownfair. One of the problem is that Adnam fella never return my calls or email. I get the feeling those NYCrew guys don't like me. /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

Still No Evo for new york heads that are curious. From what I hear it should be there NEXT weekend.

 

i heard the reason, it's supposedly cause evo machines are sold out in japan and hong kong (wtf?). so it'll be a while

Lazer Park has EVO!

That's right folks! Lazer Park was the first to give NYC VF4. They have done it again by bringing us EVO. I went on my lunch break on a whim and saw it.

Now, the bad news.

Start with the worst part, 2P side has a spazzing button. Works 20% of the time.
Shitty sticks and button layout. Typical horizontal setup.
And last but not least, a dollar a game for 2/3 rounds.

Praying CF gets it soon.

Lazer park is on 46 between braodway and 6th ave pretty hard to see since its on an avenue
