Any other artists around here?

I don't see a fan art section on this site...

Here's some stuff I've done.

I use Photoshop, Painter and 3D studio Max for these, depending on what I'm doing.

You've got talent, bleed. Excellent use of colour in your Shun Di picture. Thanks for sharing.

I like the scorpion one thought the shun di one is cool too.

 

I'm using the Shun image as my new wallpaper. It works so well with my documents flushed to the right. Execellent detail.

Holy crap, I want to airbrush the gorilla image onto my gi!!!

 

Did a little touch up job on the Scorpion picture.

Look in the first post.

I smoothed out the edges, and replaced the crap looking hand painted rope with a 3D one.

When I hit hard spots like that, I just make a flat texture map, put it on a 3D model and overlay that on the drawing.

Comes out a lot better, and saves a lot of time.

That's how I did the pattern on Feng Wei's pants.

 

Just finished this one.

It took around 5 hours.

The only reference I used for this was a vein map, to draw them in the right place.

That's awesome! Nice composition

I was never very good with traditional paints.
Didn't practice enough and still don't.

I stick to digital because of the extra freedom.
