    Apparently, Mario moonlights as a movie critic when not fixing toilets or saving the princess.

    Nintendo is giving aspiring film makers a shot at displaying their best Nintendo-themed work with the announcement of the Nintendo Short Cuts Showcase. Contestants have until June 6 to submit their short films or videos to the House of Mario, with the top three films to be screened at the Short Cuts Showcase later in June.

    Prizes will be awarded to the top three films, with first place receiving a trip to New York City to attend the screening and $10,000 among other prizes.
