1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Combovideos had great tutorialvids apparently but doesn't have them anymore. But just general matchvids would also be great. Thanks.

    Thanks & Happy Bday Shag.
Dandy_J; It's nice as a sidegame. I feel that GGXX is much better but it feels impossible to advance in that while keeping on playing VF (or even motivating ppl to touch it for that matter). A few friends at uni played CvS2 aswell and I kinda liked it so giving it a try for a while since it's fun from the get-go and I don't have a modded ps2 (so I can't play 3s). Well,..

What groove do you play? If interested I could send you some crazy ass- A-groove combo-tutorials by Gunter. Lemme know.

Also, if you are just picking that game up, check out J.Chen's guide to the game (Gamefaqs), it's pretty sweet!

imho, while GGXX is the better technical game, CVS2 is just plain more fun. it's good to keep yourself at least semi-proficient in CVS2... you never know when competition will come up..

Agreed. I cannot be bothered to put in the necessary practice time into GG. This is because everytime I do, I feel I should really be practicing VF instead.

With regards to CvS2, there are always those (many)years of playing SF as a kid, so you never feel you have to start from zero.

Good point about competition, Agios. I'll schedule in some CvS2 practice this weekend. K-Groove all the way!
