Anyone watch the TV Show: "Sasuke" (Ninja Warrior)

Probably the only good thing on the G4 network (I don't have that channel, have to watch at a friend's house).

Has anyone seen this show, Sasuke? In the US, they call it Ninja Warrior.

It's basically a semi-annual broadcast competition where participants go through an insane series of obstacle courses. I haven't seen anyone complete it, though at least one person has completed the competition as far as I know.

Like many other things though, G4 sort of screws it up by shuffling 30 minute episodes (taken from the 3 hour program) all over the place. You can't really follow a particular storyline so to speak, but that's what I find fun to watch in the show. Seeing someone barely make it past stage one, and wondering if they can get through stage two. But on G4's scheduling, you'll have like 5 seasons mashed up together and shuffled all over the place so you sort of have to remember which tournament is which. And there's no logical order, not even "weekly."

When you see how many people painfully fail this competition (including the Hamm brothers who competed in the olympics in gymnastics), I think there's greater appreciation. Here's a link of someone doing stage 3. There are 4 stages of the competition and I think they're done on the same day.

UPDATE: originally I posted a sort of spoiler "run" of the competition. It was great and cool, but I figure I'll let folks who want that seek for themselves. Still wish G4 didn't botch up the scheduling like they do a lot of other things...
