Aoi Evo Items question

i've been reading through this forum as well as the other console forums and was wondering if the item faq applies to evo as well? I'm still trying to get Aoi's hair items but not sure how to. Anyone figure it out? thanks in advance

 

I don't think the same criteria (from Ver. C) applies to items this time around. The entire system has been reworked. The only methods I know of so far are:

1. Win a random prize match

2. Win a tournament (not all tournaments give you items, some give you money)

3. Buy them in the shop (more items become available as you progress in quest mode)

4. Complete certain sections of training mode. If I remember correctly, completing the "Tutorial" section gives you something, and I think a few of the other ones give you cash. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

5. Complete a sub-quest that has a star next to it.

So far, I haven't "taken" any items from anyone like in Ver. C.

 

I just got the japanese ponytail trying to do a subquest in club sega area, it seemed like a random match but it was a prize match and the first one that was fancy like the silver prize matches, only it was gold instead.

Finish all of the Tactice Advice or whatever it's called (second selection under Trial mode).
