Aoi is missing some stuff!!!

Hey all!! I have an Aoi that is a High King with all the gems in her possession. I have most of the items but do not have the Black Ponytail, Festive Headband, or Wisteria earrings. I checked Ms Wayne Waynes FAQ but for these items it refers to the Kumite characters. I never faced Cuddles with the Ponytail, etc. Any other way Ic an get these items? Thanx Sailormoonfru

 

I've got the Wisteria earrings, haven't got a clue where i got them from, but it was a LONG time ago (my aoi is at Stormlord now), so it probably was from some low level opponent or a fairly simple task (try reversing/ TE ?). I've heard that you can get the Japanese Ponytail by collecting orbs.. so far it hasn't worked for me, although i've got 2 complete sets already.. the festive headband is a complete mystery.. /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

 

My suggestion is to collect as many orbs as possible. This might help you get items that are worn by low rank opponents who no longer show up once you reach High King.

 

Same here about the Wisteria earrings...got them from a
4th or 5th Dan Aoi (not Brutal Aoi), but not sure. One of the
first two items I picked up in Kumite.

 

Thanx guys. I guess I wasnt too clear I have gotten like three sets of orbs already and have them all again (permanently). Im at my wits ends, I guess thats being acompletist. It sucks sometimes and I really want that ponytail! ^_^

 

I don't have the answer to your question but I was thinking, maybe you could help me? I have noticed that spaz (10th Dan) has a lovely gold kimono on her 1p model but I don't know how to get one. I am currently a battlelord.

I can help u out with some stuff. The blond ponytail can be obtained 2 ways (I use it on my 1pl. Aoi, cause it easily makes her the prettiest character in the game, IMO). Anyway, you have to use player 2 Aoi, so that you can face player 1 Spaz. If you use your player 1, you can only fight player 2 Spaz which has the short blond hair instead. Not only that , but you have to beat player 1 Spaz twice to get the blond ponytail; the first time you beat her, you'll get the white flower skirt; unless you've already obtained it through the versus method (whatever that is). If you want to actually work for it, that's what you'll have to do (may take a while, but even at high king and emperor levels, she'll still show her face once in a while since she'll either be a 10th dan or hero; the lowest ranked characters you can fight at that level). The other method, according to the faq, is to beat an opponent within 10 seconds (might be 15, but I think that's for the silver ponytail) in versus. That's easy, just ringout a dummy opponent asap and it's yours! The japanese ponytail (the black one) is unfortunately not obtainable in versus; you must beat Cuddles, whom is a very low ranked character in kumite (somewhere in the Kyu's). The festive headband is won from Brutal Aoi; again you must be using player 2 outfit, cause only player 1 Brutal Aoi has this item; but you'll have to beat her twice two, cause the first item you get from her is the ornate folding fan. I believe the versus method for getting the festive headband is in the item faq, check it out. I have every single item for Aoi except one thing; the Blossom Earrings. If anyone has these please let me know the methods to obtain them (versus and/or kumite). Thanx in advance!

Could you guys help me, I'm trying to figure out how to keep Aoi's Dunce items; the Kitty Outfit and the Cute Ribbon. All I know is how to get it (by being stupid, what else), but how do I keep them?

 

Me, too. That's the one thing I don't know about Aoi's items. I have all of her regular items, and have her as High King, but I don't have the dunce items kept. Does anybody know how to keep them? None of the faqs mention it.

 

Is it even possible to keep them? Is it possible to keep every dunce item in the game, once the method is discovered; or are there only certain ones that you can keep? I too would love to know how to keep her dunce items...

 

I've seen some players that have Dunce items on their VF.net characters. It's possible on the arcade, so it should be possible on the console version.

 

its possible, but still unknown, one friend of mine has the king tut mask in his characters inventory, he don't know how he got it though.

 

I got the wysteria earrings from 'whiner'2nd dan 1P costume and i started a new aoi player file to try and get the japanese ponytail and small drum(i lost it) and somehow i got to 2nd in less then an hour in under 100 fights my other aoi file took twice as long <font color="blue"> </font> /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif
