Aoi Step

Taka from Vancouver sent me this link to a movie of a unique "Aoi step." According to him, it has no merit, but it at least looks humorous enough/versus/images/icons/smile.gif

This is an interesting flick.. am I seeing a new aoi move, or some sort of iaigeri action where she's cancelling a f,f+P over and over? Leet new costume also. Is there more where this came from?

I think that's Aoi's sidestep attack. It looks like it's being cancelled over and over, like u, P+K+G-> d, P+K+G.

Nice costume, but I like the black and red Kabuki(?) costume better.

Hey I was trying to figure this out, but couldn't really get it, maybe someone who can pull it of decently can point me in the right direction. Is it just cancelling the dodge attack with itself, or is there also a G-cancel involved? I tried it both ways but couldn't really get it to come out, maybe I was just too slow or had the timing wrong. There doesn't seem to be an exact timing since in the Daioh clips, they do it almost immediately one after another.
