AOI

im a new aoi user and would like to know if there are any vids of her in action. i tried to get the old ones on this site but most of the links already dead. Is the sabaki of aoi useful.

 

Go to the am.sega.jp thread (it's located at the top of this forum, usually). Recently they had a ton of new Aoi clips available. I'm guessing that they are still available, since they came out about a week ago. If they aren't, you can always go to the VFZone archive. They have practically all of the clips that have come out for VF EVO, so I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for there.

Aoi's sabaki deflects high and mid punches, high and mid kicks, and elbows, and is very safe if blocked. I'm not that familiar with the EVO version, but as far as I know, it hasn't changed noticeably. Aoi's ++ is very effective, as it snuffs out high and mid punches, and elbows (and maybe some other attacks), but it produces a Kuzure Down stun, which can be followed up with the old +, .

There's pretty much only one place to get older movies that aren't up anymore - IRC. Otherwise, look for new posts on this board and download new movies as they appear, and maybe some of the new clips will have Aoi.

This happens a lot, and it's a pain. Usually within one or 2 days of being posted, those movies will be mirrored on http://www.vfevo.com ... and someone will post the links. You should be able to save them and play them back once that happens.
