Aoi's new Sabaki near a wall

    Ok, I tried searching for this, but couldn't find the info I was looking for..

    I tried this in the free training mode, just for curiosity, but it seems to work.
    The situation is as follows:
    After the heavy wall stagger it seems that you can land the new sabaki move and it will cause a stomach crumble even on normal hit.
    I tried this, and it registered as a combo:
    [6][6][P] (wall),[2][3][6][P]+[K],[2][P],[6][6][P]+[K],[P]
    (normal hit 81pts, MC 93pts)

    I know it's struggleable, but still don't understand what's going on, since the move isn't supposed to crumble unless the sabaki is successful. Is this some sort of a training mode bug, or is it something that's actually useful? and sorry, if this was old news, I tried searching but came up empty.

    What you observed is correct and not a bug. If you connect that sabaki during a wall stagger it will crumble. Other characters have similar things occuring after wall staggers.

    Cheers! I never knew wall staggers could change the attack's properties..

    doesn't that attack also cause a crumble on MC? i rarely get a sabaki with the move but i like it all the same(dont ask me why) but i noticed i've gottena stomach crumble without a wall stagger, was it some other wierd circumstance?

    Nope, it doesn't crumble on MC, only when the sabaki is successful and apparently in the wall stagger situation.. Haven't tried in normal staggers yet, but I'd assume it doesn't work.

    Btw, is there some sort of a list of all the attacks that have their properties changed near a wall, or is there some sort of a generalization that can be made of them, anything?

    I think it was DRE, who pointed out that also her [4][3][P]+[K] causes the collapse on wall staggers, thanks for that, but is there more?

    A few more examples are: Wolf's [6][P] or [6][K], and Lau's [6][P]+[K]. There are only a handful of moves like this. I don't know them all, so try to experiment with different moves to see what works. Other counterhit moves (like Akira's SDE) only knock the opponent down during a stagger.

    Better wall play for Aoi:

    [6][6][P] (hit->wall stagger)[4][3][P]+[K] (crumble)[6][K][K].

    It's not struggleable either.

    There was one other time that I made Lei Fei crumble w/ taht sabaki, and it didnt' sabaki. He was going in and out of stances, and there was definitly no punch, nor sabaki animation. As I've only scene it once, it might've been a bug.
