1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

I know it'll cost a lot...much more than I can afford...but I'm dying to play Evo, and my crappy arcades most likely won't get it. This is just a question out of curiosity. If I actually could afford an arcade machine, I'd probably spend the money on car parts and other stuff of the sort. But hit me with it...how much would it cost to buy an arcade machine of a brand new game?

I saw a VF4 (don't know version) machine on ebay with a reserve of 1500 or something a few months back....that would probably include about $200-400 shipping. Evo? I have no idea...probably less expensive than a weekender to your closest "good" arcade.

Is there an EVO machine in B.R.?

Hey afro... I've heard the evo board quoted for 3000 bucks.
I think you still need to buy a cabinet (optional?) and a monitor, not to mention sticks etc. You probably could expect to pay 4000 bucks altogether, but that's just a guess.

Thanks Creed...I guess I'll just wait until a home version comes out. Maybe it'll be under $3000 by then. It's very pricey...but this is one game where I'd LOVE to own the arcade machine. I heard of a VF1 machine online for $400...it was supposedly on ebay. That game is a classic...I would want it right next to VFEvo in my garage as a "then....now" type of thing. My friends think I'm crazy for playing VF1 everytime I see it...but hey, it's the game that started IT ALL.

Look into leases, that's what most arcades do. A 6 month lease should be substantially less than buying it.
