Jeffery isn't exactly a popular character... so the point of this is, is to gather and discuss and have contacts for discussion etc but not an actual gathering event or tactical discussion... so I put it in the general board.

There aren't too many Jeffery players compared to the rest... so why not list all of them, taking note of the excellent Jeff players as well.

And I am not going to look through *all* the bazillion profiles and posts. BUT I will be adding more names found in the discussions, etc. when I get the time.

This isn't a roll call however... you do not need to post to be added.

This is thread is an ultimate boneafide answer to the question: "Who plays Jeffery?" and I may post some information on the Jeffery media for quick reference.

Hey I am a Jeffery player, but he comes seconcd to wolf, even though I find him more effective. I just love the new animations they gave him in EVO. Anyway, I live in NY, so if any of you want to see a decent Jeffery drop me an e-mail so I can whip that azz.

How the hell did I get on this list. Not that I mind, just wondering who told you I was a Jeffry player? Anyways I am not as dedicated as I used to be, but I still pick him now and then. I am sure I can own you with him though! /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif In case you haven't figured it out, I was kidding with that last line.

btw although im not that dedicated, I have lots of setups and tricks that I can share with you. I don't play jeff like most jeff players. I am more into the trickery style and trying to box with people. Most jeff players, just go for the basic, throw or knee game. Although it is all you need, it's just not my style. So if you want some of my tips, you can pm me. I am not going to post it here, because i don't think it is neccesary. My style strays so far away from what everyone else does, that it's just going to start a big flame war. And i don't want to disrupt the purpose of your thread. Later!

Hey man, what happened? It seems like you and Adam basically switched places... I had always thought of Adam as the Yuki-meister, and you as mini-Kashiwa. Now Adam is Adam-bahn Jeffry, while you are...what's Konjou?

Ur missing someone from that list. Daisuke, Prolly the best damn Jeffry player in the UK. He matches up to Ryan Hart quite well. Against everyone else, he dominates on everything u do whether it's TR-ing or trying to block.
You might be able to see him in action in the Media thread in the team norbury thread or any UK, London thread.

ya Ice, me and adam did the old switcha-roo. I don't know exactly why he switched. He said it had something to do with him just being tired of all the constant input command buffering. He just wanted to take it easy and Jeff was a perfect fit for his style of play. Same high damaging results as Akira, just way less work.
As for me, well I have always wanted to be an Akira player. Even back in the vf2 and vf3tb days. When evo came out and Akira got his + move. I was sold and knew at that point it was time to make the switch. Seriously, when I saw the trailer for evo and I saw that move into +. I said to myself "holy shit that's cool", and that's what started it all. I then also used the fact that now that Jeffry was easier to play in any version of VF4 and there didn't seem to be a shortage of players representing him. I used that as an excuse to fuel my training for Akira. I am quite happy with the results. I do miss Jeff alot and ocassionally I will put mines up against adam's. I get killed! But it's all good, because I still got a couple of tricks up my sleeve that only I can do /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I am definitely glad I made the switch to Akira. He is more up my alley. My goal with him is to become the best Akira in N.A. I am far from that goal, but I know I will get there! /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
And what's Konjou you ask, well this is the new name I go by that Kyasao with the help of Hiro came up with for me. It's a description of me when I play. It has many meaning according to hiro. Example, courage, devotion, someone who tries hard, someone who shows strong emotion. All those things make up KONJOU. Which you can basically sum up in one word, GUTS! He has GUTS, he has Konjou!
