    Single Player = Awesome
    Multiple Player = Awesome

    This game is a masterpiece

Anybody else playing this one yet?

AC 2 was better than AC 1, ACB is even better than AC 2.

I thought AC 1 was refreshing and innovative. But each series just gets better and more immersive. The online approach to this was just brilliant. I'm not sure, but I don't think there is anything else out there like it. Splinter Cell double agent online was innovative, but it doesn't come close to this.

I think with this new multiplayer, the animus concept and the DNA memory travelling, UBISOFT has got something here. I could see them taking this thing in lots of directions for many years to come. Then add the potential of the abstergo lab in Sony Home, Whoaa! Lots of things for AC fans to do [IMG]

I'm so hyped for this game. I was worried about the single player campaign not being good, but from what I've heard, it seems like a full fledged sequel to AC2. I wonder why they didn't just give this another number.

I feel mislead by the title.

Yo Tricky, single player is off the heezy(hook) . Not only is it good, they've added so much stuff, from being able to ride the horses in the city to putting together your own group of assassins OMG they've brought it this time. More main missions, more side missions, more weapons, more sophisticated interaction with guards, more moves for the assassin. Just bigger everything in single player mode. I was messin around with the cannons in single player yesterday, man this stuff it great. My problem is I don't know what to do first, multiplayer is addictive and so is single player. I don't want everybody online to level up while i'm playing single player, but I really want to get it to single player and all the new stuff that's available. I want to play both modes at the same time [IMG]

But its cats online that are really good already, so if you don't wanna get taken out all the time you better bring your A game.

I like that they didn't call it AC3 that gives them freedom. So if they want to expand on Edzio or Altair or anything the've already done the door is open. If you put a number on it, it does kind of force you to move on. This way they can add new memory sequences and come from anywhere they want to.
Think about it, I hope the "Assassin's Creed series" never comes to an end, but ten years from now, I don't think I would want it to be called Assassin's creed 23 [IMG] But "Assassin's Creed escape from Osaka" would be a kewl title [IMG]

This game is a breath of fresh air. Especially with the recent saturation of FPS. Tricky if you don't have it yet, buy it! then take your time and enjoy, this is a really really big game.

@cuz you guys have done it again. You're raising the bar for everybody. You're pushing the PS3 to its limits. The maps and gameplay is epic, Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid 4 is probably the only thing out there that gives ACII/ACB any competition at all as far sheer technical excellence is concerned. The wooden box and the harlequin that comes with the collector's edition of the game rocks! [IMG] Even the quality of hardcover strategy guide is just first rate, all the interviews and behind the scenes stuff is just totally awesome. My only real criticism of the game is that you didn't start making them sooner. Tell the team congrats absolutely an excellent job from sound track to NPC diversity and naturalness to the suspense of assassinating or getting assassinated in the new multiplayer mode, ACB is by far one of the best games ever made for the PS3. I can't comment on XBox games, but as far as
PS3 its absolutely top tier. Thank U! [IMG]

If you can afford, get the hard cover strategy guide, its top rate. In many cases strategy guides aren't that useful, in this case it is a good strategy guide, reference book, behind the scenes interviews the whole deal, and really nice art work.

the ps3 framerate on AC2 was terrible. Much better on xbox360. Of course masterpo will dispute this to the bitter end.

Yo Ugg, I have no idea what the framerate is on XBox360. I assume it must be pretty good since the Xbox is so popular. On the other hand AC2 always looks awesome on my Sony 52 inch HD. Since I don't have a Xbox I have no way of comparing them to see which is better.

I do know this the Assassin Creed games are some of the highest quality games made for any console. ACB has to be pushing the technical limits of everything its running on.

    The horse simulation
    The dust simulation
    The cloud simulation
    The lighting
The ambient sounds (belt buckles, birds, rustling clothing, etc)
    The wind simulation
The NPC programming (simply FN beyond belief)
    The texture mapping
The variations of speed within the game
The trees and grass vs dirt, dust, sand and water

As far as animation, simulation, and scope of the game universe this is a AAA title. I'm far to busy enjoying the game to count frames

This is "one"[/size] of the few games that have been made for either console that truly shows off what the hardware is capable of.

I've been playin nonstop since a little after Midnight on Monday, the more I play, the deeper the game goes, the more new stuff i discover, the more nuance, and sophistication I find. I read somewhere 15 hours for single player, but there's no way, not unless you leave out a gazillion side missions and you're an expert player. Its going to take a lot longer than 15 hours to get all of the enjoyment out of single player. Single player is deep and addictive, and multiplayer is intense , suspensful and fun.

@TheUgg really dude., a framerate comparison [IMG]

Yes, a framerate comparison. It was almost unplayable on ps3. In fact I returned it and got the xbox version and it was way smoother.Maybe your not understanding me properly... "Framerate" as in the game did not run smoothly. I would jump on a rooftop with ezio and there was a noticable skip, as well as many other laggy looking bits.btw... the horses in red dead redemption look way better then any in the assassins creed series.

    lol at "the dust simulation
    the cloud simulation
    the wind simulation" STFU!

I remember the first game having framerate issues but not the second.

Hey, I can't comment on your experience with framerate on AC1, I can only say I've played it many times on my PS3 and had no problems. (I'm extremely picky about stuff like that) so I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps not all PS3's are created equal.

And in terms of the horse simulation, I'm not just talking about how the horses look in AC. I'm referring to how they ride, stop, slow down, speed up, how they turn, and how they slide, The sounds they make running, versus trotting, versus walking, How the horse's head responds to the reigns. If you spent any time with real horses, it would be clear that AC has done an exceptional job on the horse simulation. Can't comment on Red Dead Redemption, I hear that its a first rate game.

In what way is their horse simulation better than AC's?
