Avatar pics???

Does anyone have any VF related avatar/icon pics that we can use? I saw a couple links here, but all were dead and I would like an icon under my name. Thanks.

 

just to to www.google.com and search for "Virtua fighter pics" or somthing.. thats what i did /versus/images/icons/smile.gif.. hmm www.gamegen.com has som nice VF pics aswell.. just resize em /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

I am well aware of the gamespy archive, I asked for *VF Related* and not 10k icons of random quake and baldurs gate garbage. If you aren't interested enough to help properly, then save yourself the effort and me the frustration of responding. Simple.

I can arrange to put one up on my page if you give me an idea of what you're looking for.

One nice trick to get a pretty good avatar (one which DRE uses) is to find a movie of your favorite character wearing items you like, wait until they win, and then get a screenshot of their win pose.

Hey, while I could host an avatar, you can upload a reasonably sized on from your VFDC preferences page. I dunno if 92K fits or not, but it's worth considering. You want to avoid putting both an avatar under your name and a picture as your sig. So if it won't work as an avatar-under-your-name, maybe check to see if your ISP gives you some tiny chunk of web space and use it in your sig instead...

I have little problem with the fact that when your error is pointed out you'd rather not admit it. Most people are of your ilk.

My error was in actually giving you a link to icons that had what you requested (vf related avatars) when it was obvious that you wanted someone to custom make you a website full of easy to click and assemble pictures.


As for insults: it fits you. you're obviously slower than the average bear with not being able to find VF avatars on an easy to click link (your knowing about the site makes it more painfully obvious you are lacking mental acuity) and further not troubling yourself to try and figure out Kamen's (from another thread, don't strain to hard to find the connection outside of the fact that you're bulidng a case against yourself) obviously translated but not indecipherable sentences.

Like I said, do the work yourself for a change, kiddo.

Ok, GodEater since you obviously have some chip on your shoulder lets see if we can remove it.

1. What "error" have I blindly not admited to?
I simply asked if anyone had a site up with icons/avatars on it related to VF for us to use. The next response was of no real help and yours was of even less help. they were common sense responses, but not about what I had asked.

2. How was the site you provided helpful or even close to what I requested?
It has over 10k icons related mostly to FPS and RPG games. Yes, it has some fighting game related icons, but that is less than 50 related to fighting games and less than that associated to VF.

3. I'll let you work out that last paragraph since something must have gotten garbled in your language translation software.

About me not understanding Kamen's post. Oh well, so I didn't understand what he was trying to say. It wasn't the most easy to read thing I have ever seen. I've had translingo do better work at translation, but I understand that English isn't his native tongue and I still appreciate his input.

Oh and the average Bear quip was so witty and resourceful. Did you ask your parents to let you watch Jungle Book or Yogi Bear cartoons so you could figure out?

Also, for the record I can find avatars if I look hard enough and create a webpage to host them on. I just thought *maybe* someone else had already created a site for the forum users to have an easier resource at their disposal.

Yeah Myke, I went into preferences and saw the size limit, so my akira gif is a no go. Now just looking for a decent pic that I like.
