I understand that this is flame bait and by replying I'm feeding into it even if I don't actually flame you but... I just wanted to know why did you delete your original "Fuck Tim" post?

I think that the current drama could have been avoided if both players switched mains: Brad and Sarah both are generally considered low tier in VF5 vanilla. They pretty much have to use everything and the kitchen sink to win so some shenanigans are to be expected.

Lets all be VFFs.

Extra BG's to "Bernese M D". Crap-tacular Japanese Jacky player. Uses the "walk away like a pussy" strat to death. The matches couldn't be more boring chasing his ass down the entire round. If you corner him, he just spams beat knuckle spin. Unfortunately, his connection isn't good enough to block the knuckle and duck the kick, so its pretty invincible.

I believe it was Yu Suzuki himself who said it best: "This game was not made for chicken-people!"

 

Anyone know a Jeffry player from Japan named papersong? I get the feeling he's not Japanese though but living there. I truly find people like this humorous. We played about 10 matches. I won five in a row, then lost 1, then won 1, then lost 3 in a row. He quits and then sends me a message and says, "no thanks Mr. 1-ping."

Our connection, while only 1 green bar, was actually quite good and very playable.

The reason I put this in the bad games thread is because of his demeanor. Every single match he would pounce after KO. Now I really don't care about that, but it's humorous that it seems he is trying to compensate and make excuses for losing by end-of-round pouncing and declaring 1-ping excuses.

The real question then becomes - Why do you even play me so many matches if you're going to declare lag? It's sad too because his Jeff was pretty good.

 

I don't really understand why people play a character this way. I mean when I play Castlevania I like to use triple shot bombs and just burn the grim reaper before he can move around. And I used jackie beat knuckle kick back away to be invincible on VF4 Evo quest mode.

It's not exactly sporting, but I wouldn't really think of playing this way against a human opponent because what would be the point? You are not even playing VF at that point you are just spamming at taking advantage of SEGA's most questionable design choices. But then some people hate losing and/or have socialization issues. Hey wait, that actually describes a lot of the VF community!

Actually, I play everybody except Black and Addy and lagpeoples. And socialization-wise I don't think you really know me and while I don't consider myself the penultimate coolness, I don't think I am in the same circle of social misfit-ness of many other people with my same level of gamer obsession fwiw.

Didn't this kind of know-nothing trolling get you banned before? If I had, at some point, failed to clear the social threshold to be allowed to post on a gamer website, I would probably be less quick to call the kettle black and whatnot.

Yes. I actually do have another gamer tag that I use and I only play Jackie and I use nothing but p+kk44. Then I go online and bitch about the actions of my alter-ego.

 

"A lot of" is not the entire community. Words actually have certain meanings according to the specific definitions of the words used and the order in which they are placed.
