welcome to the club masa that shit happend to me three times,the fuking screen froze at the vs menu and when i went back 2 fight the rank bar started back at default ,which iz why i dont bother with rank anymore,last time i think it happend with me and cozby,the shit just make no sense /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

 

yeah, red ring really sucks!!! But I heard the new system (65mm) is pretty stable now.(Mine is 90mm......)

The only reason for my PS3 now is playing BD!!! However, I had read one news that M$ is going to release BD for XBOX360 too!!!
The news was confirmed in Taiwan coz the orders for goods was done. But I remembered it happened around this May, nothing further until now.......

I didn't know we were hating on oyaji. I think he/she is a good player. Very good sarah. Good vane. Just my opinion tho.

 

MasaRed. I feel for u on that being booted and losing rank BS. It annoys me when people act like its no big deal cause it happened to them. No matter how many times it happens it SUCKS. I can't even imagine being in ur shoes. Have trouble finding someone in ranking to play to begin with. Have to seriously beat some good players. Then wham, all that work down the drain on some bullshit. I feel for you.

lol juda, i feel like an idiot. I hadn't been on here in a few days -started on the page where i left off when i posted, seen your comments and was like "what, i gotta say something." Really, I appreciate the comment on Aoi, I've really been trying to find the best ways to use her lately. I still feel my Lau/Akira is stronger though, at least online. If it makes you feel any better, right after that match my gf was over and I ran into Cozby and got eviscerated, being my mind wasn't exactly concentrating on Fei' stances (/laugh).

Really I don't play ranked very much. It's only when there are scrub players or none at all that I resort to ranked, but I have been poking more at it.

Guys, I should warn you about another cable-pulling idiot. His livetag is DREAMCASTERS. I played him yesterday and I thought the name was familiar, but didn't pay much attention to it until the guy pulled on me the moment he was about to lose. Then I remembered - this dude must be Darthminion's Italian cousin! Seriously avoid this guy, don't play him, unless you want to waste your time.

I'm throwing the always lame bad games to myself out here. Bad games myself. Funny thing is, i was about to lose my 9th danship a whiiiiiile ago so started playing player to get better so i wouldn't lose it. Then i got better and slowly started improving it. Then playing bad for not practicing awhile, but i'm still raising my rank bar. Frustrating. Oh well, gotta put in work for it.

I posted good games to all the people I played the last two days and felt it was only fair that I post "bad games" to myself. I know I'm making excuses, but it's hard to jump back in after over 5 months off. It hurts how bad I am now. I think I'm sending myself to bed with no dinner tonight. Peace!

 

there is still somebody who gets mad when he plays me. basically, what he did was that he walked back and put Jacky's P+K so that the opponent would get hit when he comes. this is like a typical 2D play, you know?

I was using Lau, so this might be the reason. he said nothing when I beat him with my Jacky.

 

Get used to it in the U.S. Its my guess that 90% of players on-line should mainly do player match. Seems that the worst people are in ranked, the worst connection and worst personalities.

Either is as good as you allow it to be. People play harder and more cut-throat when rank is on the line, or when reputation is on the line in player match. Sometimes feelings get hurt and egos get bruised (and disparaging XBL messages get sent), but I try to let it all slide and enjoy the intense competition.

30-match sets with good players are awesome in player, and so is the emotional roller coaster of trying to pass Master rank.
