Chief Flash, how could you?! Did you really have to keep catching him with the same throw that he wasn't breaking? If you keep doing the same throw to the guy and it keeps working everytime, why keep doing it?
That's just spamming throws and you know that's wrong but then you just had to keep hitting the punch button over and over, didn't you?
EVERYBODY knows what THAT means. You're trying to say that he's inferior and that a noob like him should've never joined your game.

this is just like when Starnab bitched about Konjou_Akiras game a few pages back and everyone jumped to his rescue like sad, lost puppies. too funny.

 

As soon as I saw that there was 23 new posts in the Xbox Live section of the forums, I just knew the Bad Games thread would have most of those. I also thought Mad African Bum Disease (copyright B. Feck, 01/12/2008) would have been the cause. Oh well, can't be right all the time.

No, that's because StarNab has a history of shoutbox shenanigans - mainly getting angry and randomly trying to insult everyone (usually me) with really weak insults.

He's also known for his weak playstyle so calling Konjou weak was a bit stupid.

No doubt StarNab will go ape just because I said his name. I look forward to the next time I'm in the shoutbox and he just starts shouting random things at me.

I am also a nOOb who is struggling a lot. I hate it when my opponent finds holes in my defence and keep hammering me with the same stuff over and over... but even I play scrubs online and I cannot stop myself from 2P them out of their rentless PPPPP

Please guys if one thing does not work, try another one. Try G, try 2P, try 2K, try evade P+K, try anything for god sake!

 

If someone is doing the same thing over and over, and you keep falling for it, learn from it. That is one thing Chief Flash used to do in our matches. Certain situations I would fall for every single time until I learned from it. Because every time he did certain things, my response was generally the same. It's a way of teaching you to not develop predictable patterns.

Fair enough, but what you say applies to Chief Flash only, there are a few people online who are willing to fight you 10-20 games even if you are losing, just so that you can learn something.

I can name 2 or 3. Chief Flash, TSF, Kingo, Feck, not many others.

 

What up Ugg. you probably dont remember me ,but i am dacombokid. we had a few matches way back sometime you fight well man , cheif flash is tough to fight for most so just have fun and learn while playing or record and don't be stressing.

 

I'm willing to do pretty much anything in order to get rematches including: not going for pounces after slams, not taking the guaranteed stomp after the 100th elbow rush, not pressing any buttons during takedown after the 1.000th evade p+k lancer, not backwalking, playing "moral" elbow games, not spamming defensive elbow when the other player desperately needs it -- you know who you are.

It works, i've had two Japanese players offer me rematches! Two, judochop and pusobusomaru /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_up.gif Okay maybe three, i do recall now a vanessa player who granted me lots of rematches, that was nice, i think we were informally exchanging setups or something. Maybe a fourth one, not impossible, the game has been out for a year afterall.

I had no luck getting rematches from Chinese mainland and Taiwan players, but, they are kinda rare though.

Still, did i mention how hard it is to get a rematch? Even with those where the connection is actually decent?! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

It's like an unwritten rule, don't offer the Gaijin rematches. I've pulled more OS /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif hitthrows than i've had J-rematches ffs. To the point I was begining to think the rematch feature was disabled in the asian release /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

I know it's supposed to replicate the arcade feeling and it's considered common courtesy to give up your seat but what if the arcade is empty and you have to, omg, keep playing the same person? Will you give up your credit by jumping out of the ring? Of course using western logic to interpret far orient behavior patterns does not work, I should know, my GF is doing her Ph.D. on this.

Anyway, it should become a VFdc phrase or something say "X is harder than a J-rematch" and the other dudes will nod and say "mhmh" and "s'right" and mumble and shit.

Haha, yeah Ash when I got in and noticed the thread had took off Again I thought it would still be madman. He let us down though /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Add Dai Bison to that too, about 80% of my losses in Ranked are from Kingo and Dai Bison when I first started playing online. Same in Player Match... They'd just keep hammering me and it probably did me a lot of good, that they were willing to play me so much when I was losing 30 - 0.

Cheif Flash, Slide & Yosuke too, they all got some massive streaks on me but they are always willing to carry on. I'm sure i'm forgetting a few people, my memory sucks /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

 

I love you Tony (no homo) you always bring the funny. lol, other than that you go back and forth between very level headed and sometimes mad outta control. Its great!!!! But you always come back level headed so its all good. BTW, this was hilarious, especially the way he always does something to demean you after the rounds....high comedy my friend.

 

Ok, I still don't get what Frame Counting is. Are the actually some l337 Jedi's out there that can count the frames while they are playing?! If so what would be the advantages to this over just knowing the frame data?
