Balls in Kumite mode?

    I have an Adept Jacky AI wich has fought against Goro2000 (High King Pai). She had crazy 9990 wins and 10 loss. But also a red ball right over the timer on her side of the health bar. My Jacky won strangely enough and now he has the red ball on his side of the health bar. Then later today he met a vanessa with the same score as Goro2000 and a white ball over the timer.

    Does anyone knows what these balls do? Are they just there for fun or what?


    Oh and a nice Jacky move: [6][K] (knee) then [1][P]+[K] +[K]+[K]+[K]+[2][K] (Lightning kick down)

    These "balls" are called orbs. Collect one or more sets of seven to win a special item. Jacky for example has two orb-items.

    Just a side not -- Goro 2000 is a real fighter in Japan, who uses Pai -- very vicious. Go to Media and check out my post on the Bay Area Cup Vol 2 Tournament. He makes it towards the end of that one.
