BAM returns with Virtua Fighter 5 as an official tournament title!

Hosted by Couchwarriors BAM is stepping up in its second year with an amazing new venue and a feature focus on all tournament titles with multiple projected screens, recording and stream.

Australian VF players must not miss this - hit the BAM website to book your spot in the tournament and support the game! Players of all skill levels are welcome and casual play will be available.

Virtua Fighter 5 will be played at 10AM Saturday Oct 2.

As an official tournament Virtua Fighter 5 players are vying for a championship trophy and cash prize pool.

Extra prizes for the Virtua Fighter tournament have been provided again by SEGA Australia in the form of games, merchandise and more. (Photos to come)

MADMAN ENTERTAINMENT are also BAM sponsors and each tournament will receive a share of DVD/Blu-Ray prize support.

What?
BAM (Battle Arena Melbourne) is a two day fighting game tournament and the largest of it's kind in Victoria.
Now in our second year we're expecting a much bigger and more enthusiastic turnout than the impressive 240+ entrants we had last year in our first running.

That's good to see SOAssuie taking an active stance in that scene. Good stuff. We need to get on game quite honestly. What to do what to do.

Congratulations to Myke for retaining his BAM VF crown and coming away with the trophy. The tournament saw a high standard throughout the finals, and the last few matches were live streamed and HD recorded. We'll have those up asap.

I'm the Kenny up there in those vids. Thanks for the uploads Bezerk.

Myke, you just rolled me in that final match. The rest of us have a way to go to catch up to you.

It's a long time since I've seen a replay of myself in a match. Scary thing is that it doesn't even look as bad as it felt on the day.

From the replay, I can see I have a few tricks, but my basics are still lacking. I'm quite happy with my performance against Alex this time, but he's still a much better player than me. Gonna see if I can improve for next event so I can put up a better fight.
