Battle By the Bridge: "Fools Bout" Philadelphia

The last BATTLE BY THE BRIDGE was a massive success. Players came from all over Philadelphia

and Delaware too figure out what the hell team L.OOZE.R was up to. This time you can expect the even more participants looking for that same answer, in fact I can almost guarantee it




The answer was simple: GOOD GAMES FOR EVERYONE!




Over 40 participants poured into our first go. There was nothing but great games, great food, and a SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE BY CAREY TAGAWA. (See Shang Tsung from the first Mortal Kombat movie) The Battle is at it again! April 1st we are once again here to entertain! Some come for personal glory, other comes to troll, whatever the case, the battle rages again! (Hopefully this time I don't get bodied out the gate, if I do theres always alchohol




How to get it in?

$10.00 venue fee. (Participants only)

$5.00 per game




TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

Mystery Tournament: 3:00 (Wouldn't be a mystery with details would it?)

SF X Tekken: 3:00, 2 out of 3 (CO-OP MODE 2 vs 2) (PS3)

UMVC3: 4:30, 3 out of 5 (PS3)

FOOLS CHALLENGE: 10:00 PM

SCV: Round Robin (XBOX)

King of FIghters 13: Round Robin (XBOX)

SF: AE: Round Robin (XBOX)

Virtua Fighter 5: Round Robin (XBOX) $25.00 entry free, first to 5.




Raffling off points for those that participate in both UMvC3 and SFXT!

There will be several setups for both tournament play and casuals.

Good shit, I'm all for more Dave and Busters-style events, I'm sure you heard about how well KO Fights went here... But the weekend after a major in Philly might not be the best timing.

Understood, this simply our first journey into the fray, if peeps can make it, great! I've ran tournaments before (used to run the largest in FL when I lived there) If people can make it out then awesome. It's going to be monthly so chances are we're always going to be occuring after some major event

Got a time for the VF tournament:

By the way we have a VF4:Evo cab for heads that want

Obviously VF5 will be 360 only because of version C, but will the other games be playable on both systems?

Will definitely do Akai! It looks like our current streaming guys pulling out this time which stinks but we'll be popping in the near future.

We're working on it, chances are you won't have to worry about it.

Yo! Only Happyfriend showed up officially for VF. I had some people playing VF towards the end. One of the main reasons I'm told is the proximity to Winter Brawl and the time frame. Looks like March 31st is the next event. Bridge Battle: FOOLS BOUT!

Looking to hold VF again, start time is going to be closer to 2 PM. More details soon. We in there!
