[Bay Area VF] Final Evolution

Team Adhoc Norcal is here to give the west coast a much needed shot in the arm. We have the best Sarah (Shou [STL]), Pai (Cappo [Bermuda]) and Shun (Sekaijin /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif [Tokyo, JP]) users in the Western hemisphere, each of them ready to give you a complimentary beatdown. Why are we adhoc? None of us are originally from the Bay Area so locals, step up and represent your home. We're playing every week up until Evolution 2K4 so post, meet up and play or just quit. These are the final days of Evolution...

Indeed I haven't been out here long but I can say that NorCal has better weather, women, and food than what I had in LA last year. And now a better VF scene?

Of course the jury is still out, but I would love to have some intra-Cali beatdowns. Maybe some of you guys could come up this month or beginning of next month and throw down? I need some practice against Lau, Brad, Aoi, and Jacky players in particular.

Anyone ready to get chouwan'ed across the Bay?

Hey guys, I'm chillin in Tokyo right now (for the summer) and just got into VF since Final Tuned is out here.. wondering where the VF Evo machines in the Bay Area are located? I live in Marin so I'm gonna need my fix when I get back ;D Also anyone know if any local arcades are gonna get FT? RTA or Metreon maybe?

 

hah, if the metreon gets FT it'll be like 5$ a game or some bullshit.

 

metreon isn't getting crap. they claim they can't get "imported games" because it's illegal.

Shou says he's quitting and only a few of my friends are still playing...we need more ppl for comp =(

Renzo - the VF cards they sell here all come from vending machines (the bemani cards too), and they're random, so I couldn't guarantee you an Akira. Sorry /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Unless of course you mean a VF FT card loaded with Akira XD But I'm sure you could manage that one yourself.

Also, I talked to my buddy Video Bob (owner of Starbase Arcade) and he said he would look into getting one! Of course it won't be for a while though, since it just came out and is still high demand here... but still, that will be madrad if it happens cuz it's my favorite and local arcade /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

And as for me as competition... I'm nothing at the moment. I have never been much of a fighting game person because I just don't have the skeelz for memorizing this shite, but I started playing Jacky here and I'm actually pretty determined to get good with him ;P
