Beat Tribe Cup March 20, 2004 (Call to US Players)

Typing from hotel Andon now.

Nice place...cozy n small...

except..the toilet is so amazingly small it is not even funny...but, that's what I had expected in the first place...still, blew my expectations to pieces.

VF-wise, went down to akihabara to play yesterday...

simple pointers.

1. lau's b+k+g is so simply fucking uze it is not funny.
2. akihabara club sega lives up to the name of being machi land. Everywhere but a few are part of ' TEAM MATE!'.
3. The players that we met last night were all very...spod friendly...all very nice to spod XD
4. we went to club gigo as well...n it is VO: Force land...
5. Bad manners players DO exist. We and danny took turns challenging this 8th dan machi lau n he keeps banging the machine. (coz us kyu card players keep beating him).
6. We challenged this guy who got 2nd at club sega tourney n the results were : we took turns beating him...he took turns beating us....*rinse repeat* Sick Lau.

7. Club Sega akihabara players loves sidekick ALOT


Now...playing VF in HIGHEST RES, PERFECT STICKS, LOUD BGM n SFX....

The Saga continues...


(note: I do not expect us to go as well as last night when we go to nishipo)

Nishisupo is more fun than Akihabara Club Sega!

More players...more style...more experts.

Nishisupo is quite comfy to play VF...hardly lack of challenge...

One word of advice to u guys flying in...forget all ur fancy ETEG etc etc etc etc...

Sure it's good to have all these fanciful defensive skills...

But trust me, sometimes...you MUST take a stand n be brave enuff to do two things...

Either stand n simply G...or simply opposite nitaku the opponent immediately...works beautifully.

So yesterday..we met shinz, pos, kyasao, osu, chacky(man, funny story behind the way I was introduced to him),shu, last but not least, R.H -UK(sup yo!)

Btw, anyone who says that Brad is weak..plz...try n tell that to anyone here...

We met this ouja Brad...excellent player...plays the mid stagger game very well...even kyasao said the brad player was awesome. The brad became a meishou when Kyasao's Shun lost to him...su geh to watch.

LOL fucking cool...Andrew just walked in while I was typing this hahahaha.

Ha, you have been getting around quite a bit it seems. If there are any particular people that you want to meet PM me and I'll do what I can to arrange it. Going to Nishi Sport is always a pretty good bet--especially Fridays...When the back row of machines is usually occupied by the likes of Chibita, Segaru, Mask, Mukki, Ohsu and a ridiculous mix of amazing guys that nobody even knows.

As far as Akihabara Club Sega goes, I personally have always felt it was lame, the guys there are not cool and there are tons of scrub ass laus and jackys that should be castrated by state mandate.

For real fun stick to Gigo or Nishi.

Hi All, this is ryan from the UK. All is well and i am having a good time here in japan. I have met summah and jerky and also met and played many of the top japanese players. So anyway...we went to shibuya hightech land yesterday.

Now, prior to meeting Andrew...I didn't sleep for 24 hrs...then I headed off to Shibuya n hooked up with kyasao, ANii n hanabi, homestay, wolfy, yoro's main squeeze has a sick kage btw.

It....was...crazy.

Anii is not human >.<

I played a grand total of...8 matches yesterday!
Too tired...won 4, got raped 4 times by Anii n Heruru...Kyasao was like...'what is wrong with u'....my reply...' in all honesty...I panicked when I fought Anii'...he almost fell off his chair.

Top off the end of the day, after dinner...I got sick...>.<

Dave is right. Akihabara style is indeed different from shinjuku n shibuya. I'm not gonna make any more comments on Akihabara Club Sega players. ^0^

Imo, nishisupo is best. Most machines, most variety...backrow is good fun to be at.

The difference in standard is amazing. U get ur not so good tsuwamonos....n some SUPER FUCKING good Tsuwamonos...

I didn't bother abt ranking up this time. just playing tsuwamonos n above( of coz, lesser rank n equally skillful players challenged me too) n a particular funny ninja. ^^

It's quite funny to be a 4th kyu n beating up 10 dan akira perfect for two consecutive rounds.

Then at the other end of the equation...there r the tetsujins. >.<

Watching these guys play...it beats DLing clips anyway. Different style, different intensity..no arranging of folders etc etc etc.

Good stuff for us, poor u alls for not coming KEKEKE!
