Best AI VF Players vs Best Human Players? (Rank Mode)

The most legitimate and advanced AI in a 3D arcade fighting game has not been implemented yet.

There are a lot of cheap AI bosses, that are impossible to beat. There are a lot of hard AI's that simply read all the human players input. But we are not referring to that kind of AI. We are referring to advanced adaptable AI that has been programmed to compete against the best human players using bonafide simulation techniques. Sega and other 3D Fighting game developers may be on the verge of creating advanced AI that is capable of fairly and legitimately challenging and defeating any VF Skylord, Novalord Dreadlord, Magmalord, etc. The race is on:

Will the Virtua Fighter community ever accept the idea that the best VF Player on the planet is an AI That is exactly what the human GO players had to do. That is exactly what the human Chess players had to do. AlphaGo beat the world's champion human GO player. Deep Blue beat the world's champion human Chess player.

Will human players think it is fair to compete against AI in fighting game tournaments

Maybe high quality advanced VF AI fighters is the answer to the online ghost town's Online. If nobody else is online, will an AI do?


If a player earns a rank promotion against an extremely advanced AI (of similar rank) is that just as good or better than earning a rank up against a human opponent

If a player is demoted by an extremely advanced AI (of a similar rank) would that be considered fair by human players

If Virtua Fighter 6 happens one of the innovations Sega might introduce into 3D arcade fighting games is advanced AI. Will players think it is fair, or a joke, or a gimmick and not as good as playing against a human player Folks ( I have info from my sources that says) This is kind of AI is coming soon to a fighting game near you. VF6 could have this kind of advanced AI. If VF 6 doesn't do it, Tekken 8 probably will.
