Bidding Your Time Until Evo Hits?

This topic goes out to the people who are eagerly awaiting a translated Evo. I'm so pysched I got my memory card and control stick ready to go, I just need me bloody game.

Anyway so I was curious what games are you playing to bide your time.
For me its Soul Caliber 2, P.N. 3 and soon to be Viewtiful Joe at the end of the month.

Of couse some people are playing Evo until Evo comes out and to them all I can say is "You lucky bastages."

 

Playing Evo and working on my face design for the stick Catch22 is making soon. Hopefully the stick will be ready by August.

 

It all really depends on what type of consoles you have (assume PS2), and of course most, if not all of the posters here have a computer /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

PS2:

-If you like action games, definitely get (if you don't already have): both GTA games #3 and Vice City, these games are an absolute must have for any videogamer, while VF is a great game, GTA blows it out of the water /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

-Most people enjoy the Metal Gear ,series, and considering that substance has been out in the US for some time, just buy it. Hours of replayability and the high end values of a Kojima game!

-FFX, get is, 40hours later, beat it. This is another amazing game, (the sequel is cool too, though in Japanese for the most part). FFX is actually a really damn good RPG, and one of better FF games imo.

-Some other game are: Ratchet and Clank (it's good, really good), The matrix games (if your are a BIG BIG fan only, Sega sports games are all good, FIFA, and many others. Gamespot is a good site to check up on video games, they gave VF4 a 9.3/10.

Now for the PC (or Mac /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif)

-Starcraft:BW, Warcraft 3, Diablo II/ basically any Blizzard game is worth getting.

-GTA games (again)
-MGS2: substance
-Battle Field 1942 (got a shitload of game of the year awards)
-Unreal Tournament 2k3 (only if you are a big fan)
-C&C Generals
-AOM
-Neverwinter Nights
-Evercra.......quest
-there of course are more, just use Gspot again.






And of course /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gifYOU COULD PLAY VF4 /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif!


PS: American Evo is going to be better than Japan Evo (still though, playing Japanese VF Evo = worth money any day!!!)

 

Hey cat sandwhich I was just curious what people were playing, though I understand for the unitiated many and all of those games would kill plenty of time until Evo hits.
I could get and play the Japanese Evo, but I really want to get the most out of it and that's why I'm waiting for the US release. I was curious what the other VF people were doing to kill time.

 

I'm playing Tekken Tag alot actually. That and CS and WarIII on my PC.

Oh, and I'm playing Evo until Evo comes out. Maybe some Quake3 and WRC II Extreme, too.

 

I have access to a copy of evo but I'm actually taking a little break before the uk release so I'll be a little refreshed for the next three years without sleeping I plan to spend practicing.

I've been playing a lot of vf3 to kill the time. Enjoying it more than ever actually.

 

I completed GTA 3 100% and started on GTA VC but am having troubles keeping interest in it. Was thinking of playing GTA 3 again or try and get the last 3% on THPS4
. I've been playing VF4 throughout, gotta keep my brain challenged on something. Vs mode always rules and I still have a lot to learn I think. Like someone posted above, I am thinking of taking time off until Evo so it seems fresh and exciting. I wouldn't mind going back to TTT for a while. My friend is also finishing military training so we can go hardcore on Starcraft again /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm playing the demo of evo but there is only so many times u can take a quater of arcade mode.

 

With my PS2 still busted I'm playing lots of X-Box games and my PC standard.

Playing the Evo demo mostly, but I have to agree with archangel that repeating 3 stages of arcade over and over gets frustrating.

Having said that the demo has got me giddy with excitement for the full version. Next Friday can't arrive soon enough!
