Will you post some impressions of the game Shadowdean???

I actually went out and tried to buy it on Thursday or Friday of last week and literally every video game store in the city of Boston was sold of the 360 version... I went to Best Buy, Gamestop, everywhere and no one had any copies left.

I was hoping that it'd be a pretty good game if it was selling like hot-cakes...

If someone here has played the game, let me know what you think of it...

Played it yesterday on Co Op with a friend, I didn't get to play much but it seemed pretty good. I'd say Its very much like Fallout, but has RPG elements Like oblivion and WoW. The characters and environments are cool, the graphical style reminds me of Crackdown.

    I LOVE THIS GAME!

If you're in to co-op, its one of the best games out right now. To me, I think it plays like Unreal Tournament with RPG elements. The action is fast and furious (especially if you're playing Brick), but you can also play at a distance. The looting is really fun too. Finding a new gun with stats that make your jaw drop is exhilarating.

It took myself and my girlfriend about 40 hours to complete the game on split-screen co-op. Once you beat the game, you can start your second playthrough where you will start over but keep your stats, level, weapons, ect. Its the same experience, but the enemies are much higher level and theres a lot more of them. The loot is also better.

Hitting the level cap (50) will take about 2 playthroughs and 100+ hours.

I'm considering buying a second copy so we can play online (theres no online split-screen)

It will take about 30-40 hours to finish the game once. However if you start a second playthrough with the same character the enemies and loot are scaled up.

This game is great. Doing missions, getting loot and fighting mobs is fun. Although the enemy AI is pretty weak, I'm starting to think they did that on purpose so the game wouldnt be too hard.

I remember being in a shootout with some tough Crimson Enclave soldiers and thinking how they could destroy me by just straight up rushing me.

I've mostly been playing solo but I would like to get into to some co-op and pvp games. I have a level 41 Hunter.

You miss out on a lot of beauty in this game when you tag along with high level players, IMO. Fox, do you have the game on xbox or ps3? I'm running xbox, so I might be able to hook you up with a weapon you can't use for another 10 levels [IMG]

I know, but competent parties my level seem to be difficult to find. You got any characters around my level you wanna level?

I got this game a few days ago and it's pretty sweet. Tons of weapons to collect and the leveling up happens pretty fast.

I find online coop play a bit laggy, to be honest. There are no dedicated servers, it's all peer-to-peer, which can get terribly wrong if you have one low-ping guy in your party or if the host him- or herself is sitting on a 56k modem.

I wished Borderlands would support dedicated servers like Left 4 Dead. It's terribly hard to even land headshots with a sniper rifle.
