This thread is to share Brad vids but not just "good" or "well-played" Brad vids but interesting vids with unique set-ups and/or series.

Here's a very aggressive Brad player with some genius setups. If only he would have inputted the low throw escape for Wolf's most powerful low-throw at the end of round 3... oh well, kinda glad he didn't. Strong fighting from both players:

I know how that feels. Cheif flash did that to me in a tournament a million times cause i kept freezing up. I also didn't know what to expect or which way to escape. lol

Great vid in the op. I think Brad is going to be my character when 360 version comes out, so good to see some more great stuff with him (I used to watch vids every day for like 6 months straight on youtube a while back, but Brad was never close to the majority of what I saw).

 

Ok, I don't know what it's been, but I always thought I was an Akira player. I played some Brad in the arcades in Japan only because I didn't have enough money to sit and practice Akira. But after watching this video between my hero (besides Joseph) Homestay, I remember my roots (I still actually think that SHU just might be the best player in Japan, but it looks like there are players catching on to his style that just used to own so many):

Here's a few tips that should help:

Hit checking:
When you do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif try to make sure that you've connected before pressing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif again. The same goes for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif after long ducking. You can delay the second knee for a really good time and play some good mind games with it or just go for a throw//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif(hit check)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif instead of the second knee from LD
If you dont hit check, your opponent can punish you by ducking your high elbow or guarding your second knee which leaves you at a big disadvantage.

Evading:
This is something that I forget about too sometimes but the cool thing about evading is that you can input throw escapes while you do it and you get to take the advantage if done properly. After a succesful evade try /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif(hit check) slipping/finish with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or just go for side/regular throw.

Try using Brad's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif more. It's a very important part of Brad's mixup game and after you get a stagger from Brad's elbow or Phasing Turn's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif dont forget that you can go into ducking/slipping stances and further apply pressure. If your opponent isn't good at stagger recovery then try Ducking /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, it will pop them up in the air for a combo and if your opponent stagger recovers well, then mix it up with throws/mids and Brad's best low attacks
/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif The latter, on counter hit will net you a nice combo with some good setup possibilities.

great match on both sides of the table. One of my fav matches is still an eileen brad ver. c match. I'm sure you've all seen it before it was up here once upon a time

 

I play Brad since the begining of VF4Evo but I had no idea that in 5 he can continue with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/3rd/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif from clinch. If the opponent doesn't recover I always go for a light pounce, never thought of anything else, lol /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Wow, that fight was vicious! Both players made full use of Brad's movelist (it was certainly the first time I’ve seen the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif string used effectively in a match) and the comeback (of both players really, but more importantly the finish) was just astounding!
