    When Vanessa counters a high or mid punch with b or d/b+P+K the opponent can prevent damage with P+G as soon as she begins the counter or they can roll out of it by pressing P+G after she breaks their neck to prevent okezime (wake-up) games. I was wondering if anyone else knew any reversals or breaks for other counters. Oh yeah, I know about the one with Pai vs. Pai.

    Oh yeah, forgot to mention when Vanessa tackles you you can press G when she makes contact with your body to block her punch from it. Any interesting little tid-bits of info like this would be greatly appreciated.

    You can escape Aoi's combo-throw as well. Not everyone knows that one. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

    You mean Aoi's b, f+p, (hit)p+g ?

    Where she double palms and throws? Is it just a p+g escape?

    I could be misunderstanding what Gaijin_Punch is referring to, but Aoi's combo throw is hcf|hcb+P+G-> b|f, d+P+G-> d|u+P+G.

    Aoi's b, f+P-> P+G is a hit throw. As far as I know you can't escape it.

    Like ghost said, he means aoi's HCB or HCF throw. When you see aoi roll onto her side and take you down to the ground, you have a 50/50 guessing game to escape the next part... press u+P+G or d+P+G.

    The better one is d+P+G because if you escape the second part, yay. If you don't, aoi's second part is successful but then her multithrow ends.

    If aoi ever lands the first two parts of the multi throw (the takedown and one more attack) then you have the same guessing game... press u+P+G or d+P+G to escape the third part. The better one is u+P+G, because if you fail to escape that direction, aoi will land a ground throw on you and you'll have taken the max damage possible from aoi's multithrow.

    So in summary: If aoi takes you down, mash d+P+G and see if you escape. If you fail to escape, switch to mashing u+P+G.
    Eventually you'll figure out the timing and can tap the directions without mashing, but mashing does work.

    Oh to answer the original question... nope, vanessa and the pai vs. pai example are the only chickens (reversal escapes) in the game. All other reversals are pretty much guaranteed damage... except the no-damage reversals.. like aoi's reversals vs. crescent kicks and sweeps. You can try to struggle and block the next attack.
