1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Some time ago, I mentioned on the shout box, that my Dual Shock 2 got hurt. After few repairs it was up and about (as far as a thing can be) and fully functional.
Yesterday, I was pissed that I had to go to my grandma, when I was in the middle of playing VF4Evo. So I paused the game, and threw the pad onto a bed.... well... but it didn't land there.

Instead, it just bumped of it, and landed quite softly on the floor... suddenly almost exploding to pieces (I have no idea how this happened !! ).

All in all, I somehow managed to put it together, but without any chance of it vibrating again, and with R1 an L1 not functional due to few broken pieces.

I don't expect it to last long, so I am preparing for the funeral. If anyone wants to donate some money to help me buy a new one, PM me to get the bank account no. (LOL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif )

Here are the pictures after putting it together:

He was my friend, I will never forget him. He allowed me to do everything in VF....except for the knee (4 times out of 10 :/) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

You should ask Lotrzyna about a knee-friendly pad mod, he's definitely done that somehow

Yeah, but hell, I can live without the knee, as long as other things work well /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
But hey, thanks for the advice.

    Hehe /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
Dpad on my DS2 is customized for buffering /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif in DbPlm - I have changed pre-set position of that strange "cross" - the one that is missing one "arm".
It wasnt made for doing Knee on DS2. For this I have changed default buttons setting to: L1= /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+ /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif , square= /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and now: press L1+square, L1 with your left hand index finger for 1frame and thats all, for me it works about 8/10 or more as has been seen during "Warsaw VF friendly cup" /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    Done that! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Thanks.

Unfortunately, this setting is really uncomfotable for me, and even with that done, I wasn't able to pull it off better than before /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

I guess some people (ME) are just worse at this kinda things /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
