    Thanks for the link.

Would it be possible for someone who has it to post the match-ups contained? Don't bother if it's too much effort, but I'm curious to see who fights who.

It's hard to list all of the matchups, but all the big name players are in it: Chibita, Homestay, Yoro, Haijin, Arashi, Tsuchikumo, Ohsu Akira, Jin, Fuudo, Segaru, Mask Do Hijitetsu, Hanabi Lei, Kashin, Kurita, Minami Akira, Chiemuru, Hakushon Lau, Yanaga, Punch the sempu, Inocchi....

Basically, any combination of these is a good matchup.

Just to play "Yamagishi's Advocate" for a minute here:

If people like watching things like this, maybe they could consider, if only for a moment, actually shelling out the cash to help support the people who create them? In this case, you'd be helping to support Beat Tribe, which is a great orginazation by any standard, for all fighting games. While this was officially released by Enterbrain, who jacks the price up (and it IS expensive), if people don't but it, why should Beat Tribe bother producing and taping another tourney like this?

If you live in a country with a bad economy, I can understand why it's not really an option. But, I've seen so many college student game freaks with huge stacks of spanking new Manga, Anime DVDs, piles of the newest games, an X-box, PS2, Gamecube, new PC etc etc who'll turn around and say something like this is too expensive. What a load of shit. If the newest piece of crap from Capcom, Tecmo or Square is worth your money, why isn't this? Aren't you the people who love VF, the hardcore fans?

The DVD is really something special, relatively rare (what, you can't afford ANOTHER FT DVD this year? Because you've spent all your money on all the other FT DVDs out there?), and you can learn a lot from it. Pitch in with a few pals and support BT. Everyone complains that VF doesn't get love outside Japan, but you have to give them a reason to give you love. I saw SO many people with burned copies of Evo when the Japanese version hit. But people will shell out $ for Ninja Gaiden, FF, GTA or whatever without a second thought. Know why FT isn't getting a PS2 release? One reason ONLY: Japanese version of Evo didn't sell well.

Even if there is NO $ in it (which I've heard there no longer is, they've stopped releasing their own DVDs), BT WILL keep making things like this, because they care about people like YOU. Care back. Same can be said for the KSS DVDs, Sega doesn't HAVE to do KSS.

not trying to go off on anyone, but someone needed to say this

if there was a post that would make me break my "i dont post on vfdc" rule, this is it. Theres nothing else I can add to what you already said Bryan, other than I agree 100% of everything you wrote, coulnt have said it better myself. IT is indeed a shame what some VF "fans" do.

and now back to irc, until another worthy post pops up /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

however, even tho both europe and japan use region 2, japan uses ntsc and europe PAL so some ( i have no idea how many) dvd players in europe might not be able to play it :S

    To open torrent files :

Download a torrent client, like bittornado. Just google "torrent client".

Open the link, choose where to download it and download. It will basically connect to seeds ( people who finished the download) and peers (who are ahead of you) and download off them.

Once you're done, please stay on and help seeds. This will make everyone's speed better.
