add Guttler to the list a 5th dan brad who I tried to play on 3 different occasions,
when he whined into the microphone that "Oh i don't wanna, all aoi players are the same" etc.
More like he was scared to get ranked down , 5th dans are pretty rare so was damn annoying to find one who was being a damn pussy about the whole ranking thing, go play and unranked match if you don't' want your record affected! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

 

Add filoooo to that list, played that dude, and after the first round he quit.

 

i think we should be careful not to accuse people as cable pullers, maybe it's an isolated incident when the line drops. to be fair we should only report if the peep drop out consistently.

 

I would agree if it were to happen in the middle of the match, but when it happens the second you land the final blow in the last round...its a bit suspicious.

 

Also any normal sane person would send you a pm immediately saying how it wasn't a pull but some other reason. I've been up 2 rounds and in the middle of the 3rd round lost connection, and the guy right away sent a pm saying he didn't pull, that his connection got cut somehow. The guy who pulled on me Shafoniq didn't send me any message and the game cut out right before I delivered the last hit. And it was a slaughter so I can tell when it's intentional. It was one of those runs where you don't let up and they can't get a single hit in. Those are usually perfect time for pullers to pull.

I've had only 3 people pull the cord on me since I've had the game, which is a lot less than I expected.

Oddly enough, all 3 were Lei-Fei players, lol. I don't recall the names though.

 

Well, let's add "Saul Sep 29 06" to this ever-growing list. This guy just kept spamming Pai's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif as most Pai scrubs online like to do (in addition to mashing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif), and I kept ducking the last kick and punishing with a throw. This fool disconnected in the last round. Sega needs to copy the Halo3 system and just subtract ranking points for people who quit early or something.

That was probably me you were playing. Your tag is JunoSynth, right? Good matches, BTW. (your Lion is crazy! I had a good time trying to deal with your pressure tactics...) If I remember right, you were playing Blaze in that particular match though. I think we even played a few more after that.

But yeah, even when I used to play DOA, sometimes my connection would just give out for no apparent reason within the first few minutes of online play. It only happens once though, and I'm good for the rest of the day.

hmm ok I may have made a mistake I didn't realize you could host the games I've only been playing quick matches,
so I just look for the highest ranked opponent to play and try and rank up on them.
I don't even remember playing you that many times I only notice the player names if it's someone I know from real life or the vf scene.

I posted in here to let people know in case they play you what to expect and it seems I'm not the only person who has a problem with you (albeit phrased by the other poster more colourfully lol)

Dude, admit that you quit b/c you didn't want to be ranked down. It isn't worth the trouble for any other conceivable reason. If you host the game, you take your chances with who you get. That is the way it works. Don't be a chode. Change your ways. Admit your mistakes. All can be forgiven.
