canceling mo-to-mo membership???

okay, how do i cancel my month to month membership, do i have to call? i tried to find under account management wher ei could cancel the auto re up deal, but couldnt'. can someone help me out?

I believe you have to call Xbox Live support.

 

yeah you have to call! I had to call to cancel one of my memberships. Well really I believe you only have to call if you are canceling entirely. If you want to just upgrade to a yearly or so you should be able to do that right from the system or by signing into your Xbox.com account and head on over to account management / billing.

 

yeah you're right about the 2nd part Konjou, what kinda shit is that, if you want to give us more money just click this box, if you want to cancel, well.....you'll have to call and wait on hold and deal with some jackass.

Just wondering cause i've had to phone them plenty of times and every single time i've spoken to an American. Be pretty strange if it's like that for us UK folk but not for you Americans.

 

MS support, when my first 360 died.

 

It's never an american when I call, and they keep talking and putting me on hold when I'm just trying to cancel. It's frustrating as hell to me and I just try to stick with the prepaid cards. Call CS sucks!

 

Let me guess... you both spoke to an English person, haha.

EDIT: Seriously, i've called them a lot and I find it strange you guys don't get to speak to Americans but I always do.
