-Finals will be Best of 3 rounds/7 matches
-Double Elimanation
-DOA 4.1
-You are allowed to bring your own controller or arcade stick (please mark it)
-Programmable/macro controllers/sticks are not allowed.
-40 second time limit
-Random level select
-Any character can be used
-Dangerzones allowed
-EP stage banned
-Singles
-Double Elim

Virtua Fighter 5 Rules

-Game version: US Xbox 360
-Best of 3 Matches
-Best of 3 Rounds
-Round Time 45 Seconds
-Double Elim
-Singles
-You are allowed to bring your own controller or arcade stick (please mark it)
-Programmable/macro controllers/sticks are not allowed.
-Dural is banned from tournament play.
-There will be no customizing colors, names or items at any time before or during a tournament match.
-The Finals are a best of 5 game Matches.

Guitar Hero 3 Rules

-Participants are required to bring their own guitar controller
-All tournament match play is in the Pro Face-Off mode (Player 1 vs. Player 2). All rounds will be played on Expert.
-Double Elim
-A player is only allowed to pick a song once for the duration of the tournament. That song may be picked AGAINST them any number of times, it may also be RANDOMLY drawn against them any number of times, but they may only PICK it once.
-Star power button (not select button)-- not allowed.
-Pausing in the game will be an automatic failure on the song.
-Foot pedal star power mod is not allowed.
-Finals are 4 out of 7 Songs

What is the prize payout?

I'm going to be there.
Anyone wanna money match me in DoA4?
I'm not going highroller status just in the area of $5-$10.
And I'll think about moneymatches in VF5 once I get/learn to play it.

 

I like to attend VF5 tournment, but it doesn't seem to be any sign up website or sign up sheet

 

pretty much just tell me if your a maybe or a for sure, there is no sign up sheet just show up at the venue and registration will start up prior to the tournament.

The way ppl keep suggesting Tekken 5R on DoAC to replace SSBB, it looks like it will.

VF5 really should be best of 5 rounds, unless you change it to best of 5 matches like DOA4 is.

But even if it's best of 5 matches DOA4 should be best of 5 rounds too.

Ask them if they can make some special rolls like the Lion king Roll (basically a california roll w/tobiko, green onion, and salmon on top baked with a special cheese-mayo type sauce) or some other crazy rolls.
