I haven't played much VF for a minute though.

EDIT: I'm going to be there mostly for Marvel 3. I entered MK9, but with no frame data I don't have much motivation to learn in the dark so I'm pretty bad at it.

Hey! I went to NYG and uh...

 

I looked around the convention hall and never saw a vf setup.

How about in marvel teams I almost reverse ocvd tokidos team and dropped 2 combos on dark pheonix for the win. Lost all 3 chars to silly avoidable mistakes. Wont happen again : ).

 

Yo good shit reppin your Jill/Joe combo on the stream, I just watched the replay of I think it was the first part. Where you came back and saved your 3 man team.

EDIT: Alright, I'm back home. I was typing on my phone before so I wasn't trying to say too much. Unfortunately, my bracket had too many strong players and I didn't make it out of pools in singles. I lost to Yipes and JSMaster(both to timeovers in close games) but I honestly had no idea what to expect (and hadn't played the game in weeks) this really being my first major tourney. PR Balrog and a bunch of EMP players were also in my bracket. Now that I know what to expect I think I should do much, much better next time. I made a lot of mistakes (possibly jitters), that cost me against the better players. I'm considering going to EVO and messing around with Jill / Sent / Tron since I saw a guy combo off the Sent Bomb assist on youtube.

My teammates aren't as much into Marvel 3 as I was and aren't very strong, so every team we beat...I OCV'D.

Also, met BlackStar. Really cool and nice guy who isn't as bad at VF as he thinks : D. Had alot of fun in our Marvel and VF sessions and hope we get to play again sometime.
