cheating

have u ever thought ur opponent might be cheating? Not too many dmpk, or 2p or whatever, but actually using some kind of cheat?

 

I am sorry I don't understand. how did they cheat? I am not asking for a name but I am kinda confused as to how someone can possibly cheat in vf. are there glitches that I am not aware of??
something like soul calibur's VC? what is it?

what got me thinking of this was i play gears of war 2, and i can't play 3 fucking games until u come across people cheating. Blastsheild cheat is the big one. LOTS of people rocking lag switches for getting the best weapons and sudden death. About once a night u get the old invisible person b.s. It's ridiculous.

 

Online on VF, I never feel that someone is cheating as such. They're abusing lag, which is different.

On Gears however, I do feel that people do cheat because it's the only way they can win. Like in the first Gears where there was the roadie run chainsaw, the falling through Fuel Depot to force a draw and several others.

I'll never forget the guy who was using the shotgun chainsaw glitch on Annex when the host side had 4 people while we had 3 and after they won, he gets on the mic and says "You guys really suck". That did irritate me and the other two on my team a lot.

 

I havent got aclue what you are talking about as IVe never played gears, but I assume you are talking about exploitable glitches. There have been couple glitches in VF earlier versions, but generally its nothing. Those were more like peculiarities. Im not aware of any glitches in VF5 ver b or c.

 

Using a programmable pad/turbo feature would qualify as cherating i guess.

...(unfortunately for me) using pad shortcuts in general would probably be considered as cheating for the arcade vets.

 

I remember how in VF4Evo you could throw Dural with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif with Shun, and if you were positioned correctly side to the wall, she'd fall and somehow "slip" in between the wall and the floor (on the junction of the two). Worked only in training though.

In VF5 ver.b I did either Frankensteiner with Wolf (or some other move that left me lying on the floor) and my friend ducked under it and did a throw, and somehow the throw connected! It looked funny, as if Goh used force pull on me to actually grab me. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

I've seen a few glitches, nothing game breaking though.

Jeff's teleport grab, being able to run about outside the ring and Shun falling through a high wall.

 

Closest i've seen to cheating is those people who deliberately download/upload while they play, so their DM p+k becomes super powered.

 

Pulling = cheating.

 

SUPERLAG IS CHEATING.. no more playing dudes with no bars... things just dont flow..it's like playing in MUD

 

Who said playing in lag is like training in 100x gravity?

Well, training with 100x gravity would technically crush you to death. Lag crushes VF's strats much the same.
