Check ur approx VF5 online pings - useful website

this site will test your basic broadband ping to pretty much anywhere in the world.

it should read your ip address and centre the home server on where you are, allowing your to select any country you like to check approx ping times.

from scotland to servers on mainland uk i'm returning about 41ms....to mainland europe 58ms...to east coast of america....125ms.

i'm no expert on this subject but i would guess a ping < 80ms is going to give you a really decent connection. anything around 100ms i suspect will be a little dodgy but still playable.

 

From here (philly) to N.Y i got between 21 and 49ms. From here to london i got 89ms. Then from here to san fransisco i got 189 to 216ms.

 

I think the threshold for no lag is around 15ms. After that, you lose frames. So no fuzzy, but still quite doable.
