Lots of pictures from the event can be viewed from this - Famitsu Story.

I am not sure how this stream compares to other major gaming events, but it was done extremely well - one of the best streams I have ever watched.

Super professional job on this one, Sega. Well done. It's actually Ohsu Akira who took the pictures, he will have a much larger gallery available soon.

Are there links to the archived footage? I didn't get to see everything.

Currently, there is not. If it does come out from Sega, it will likely be several weeks. I have a feeling that they are planning to release a DVD/Blu-ray of the Event.

The official blog mentioned DVD/Blu-ray issue earlier.

Chibita looks like a rock star in these pics, and Yu Suzuki was there! Cool.

Awesome. So fitting that Chibita wins the last tournament for VF5. The guy who really played the game as a game.

Yu Suzuki: "It was worth making Virtua Fighter for this."

Edit: Damn, Kyasao and Chibita don't seem to have aged at all from their VF4 days.

      Congrats Chibita!!!

As long as there is a Virtua Fighter... There will be a Chibita.

Didn't Fuudo say something like "you can't stay competitive in VF as long as SF"?

If he did, he'd be wrong!
