CKY - for those who love seeing kids be jackasses.

CKY is a series of movies (cky:landspeed, cky2k, cky3) that shows a group of young guys (and some girls) doing stupid things to each other, to themselves, or to total strangers on the streets. A lot of these things are funny in the "omg I can't believe he did that" sense, and some are funny just because they're sort of skits with 3-stooges-style abuse. And some of the stuff is just impressive, the group has a few fearless skateboarders and there's a lot of footage of skate parks and city streets.
Most of the clips are just insanely rude behaviour though, asshole friends at their worst /versus/images/icons/smirk.gif

Some of the bits I liked -

Parking lot sports - put a buddy in a shopping cart, give it a long running start, and let it ram into the curb of a sidewalk so that your buddy ends up flying into/through some decorative shrubs. They come up with a lot of ways to get flung into shrubs, such as dropping from rooftops, jumping out of cars, etc.
Plant yourself on top of a minivan and have the driver back up at 30 mph into an inclined snowback, so that you fly off the van into the snow.
Tie a desk, upside down table, or dresser onto the back of a van and furniture surf at 40 mph.

Rude Awakenings - it keeps getting worse...
A guy is woken up with a hard swat from a pillow.
A guy is woken up with a punch to the back of the head.
A guy is woken up with the punch followed by a fart in their face.
A guy is woken up by having toilet paper smeared with shit wiped on their upper lip. Don't see these movies if the sight of shit makes you blush.

Fucking with strangers -
The boys punt field goals into stranger's moving cars.
Someone wipes his ass with a dollar bill and drop it near an ATM. The funny part isn't just that someone picked this up and got it halfway into his back pocket before realizing what was happening. The funny part is when the cameraman says to his buddy (while cracking up) 'go get him! get him to sign the release!' ... and he does.
One of the skaters stuffs a LOT of bubblewrap into his pants, which makes him plausibly look like a fatass, then tries skate tricks in the street. He has one of his friends run out and kick him in the ass or shove him off the skateboard during a red light at an intersection. The drivers don't appreciate it, nor are they amused when someone hops up onto their front bumper at hotels. You sort of get the idea.

Impressive
-Jumping off the roof of a house into ... a kiddie pool?!
-The same, but from the balcony of a hotel into the hotel pool.
-Leaping onto a trampoline, bouncing onto another ten feet away, then off that one and through a tree to the aforementioned kiddie pool.
-Paying 9 bucks a day for rental car insurance in iceland, then beating the shit out of the car by driving it over and through things, eventually setting it on fire and causing it to blow up.

My descriptions fail to convey the piss-yourself funniness of the actual movies. It's worth the effort to find a copy of any CKY movie and watch it, if your sense of humor doesn't run towards dry, subtle, literate things. The problem with these movies is that I don't think they're a free download anywhere, tho there may be bits and pieces available to download. The official page is http://cky.bunchajerks.com .
Filesharing progs will find the movies, but they're huge, be prepared to wait for a CD's worth of mpg footage.

Heya Creed, this would be just be before our jackass era. You'll actually see cameo appearances from Jonny Knox and friends in some clips. The main star of CKY is Bam. If you've ever seen Tony Hawk on tour you'd probably see Bam as well.

 

Heh, if i could find this stuff on Kazaa then id prolly dl it /versus/images/icons/grin.gif ...those sound too big for me to sit around a dl...atleast with Kazaa i can x out of it and continue it later..

 

It's on winmx, I violently recommend that program to everyone. It does what it's supposed to, millions of people use it, and it's ad and spyware free. It even does a form of DL acceleration by downloading from as many sources as possible at the same time, thus making sure you get the best possible download rate.

I found about a half dozen entries for cky:landspeed ... one mpg version and one divx version.

www.winmx.com for the program. Also do a search for trippymx. I think it's www.trippymx.co.uk ... trippymx isn't a separate program, it's just a list of servers for winmx that you can download and install into winmx's server directory. You get more search results that way.
