collecting items after your orb items

I play as Pai and I am a High King with her. I have both of her orb items, and I have collecting another full set of orbs (my third set, the first two being used to get the Chinese Opera Mask and the Lily Crown). I've read on this board and in a FAQ that by collecting orbs after you get your orb items, you will recieve items that you may have missed or were unable to obtain. Why haven't I gotten an item if I've collected all 7 orbs, does anyone know?

 

Well if you haven't gotten any I would say you can't but if you do their is probably only three orb items.
P.S. A fairly good combo for Pai is ++
