I might be the only player to show up from UT for VF. I think the rest off the crew got busy with work or life, they might of lost interest in the game, or the small size of the crew; there were about 4 of us, I hope not.
How many do you have so far for the VF 5 tournament? I hope that I can make it out gas prices aren't friendly as of lately, maybe I should carpool with other players in other games, or take a bus. Any ideas are welcome.

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. The ramda inn has extended the deadline for the rooms until this Friday June 8th. If anyone is planning to rent a hotel room near the tournament you need to due so now. Here is all the info:

Description of Rooms/Hotel: Each room has 2 queen sized beds in them. The hotel provides a shuttle services that runs until 10:00pm but the tournament is within walking distance so walking to and from the tournament is an option.
Food Options: There are multitude of food options all around the tournament site

One deffinate UT VF player comming out! Everything is a go I get off work thursday and take a little nap and then I head out. This will work out as long as my vehicle holds up, and get there in time for registration. Who is the closest coming in from Utah that is is in the colorado VF group? Wondering if I could hang with them for the tournament? Does any one know any UT players in maybe some other games?

 

Would like a place to crash even if its on someones floor with my sleeping bag. I will arive some where from 8:00A.M. to 12:00 Noon friday morning. So if anyone is willing to help out send me a pm. As an added incentive I have all the Sega Saturn fighting games like last bronx, fighting vipers, and fighters megamix!!!
If you guys have a saturn with some sticks that would be great!!!

 

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Hey Wall, one of my guys who is a tekken player is offering his room and a bed at the hotel that is the official hotel for CCCT. You can room with him but he will ask for some money for the room though. Really cool guy and he will be at his hotel on Thursday. His name is Branden. I will hit him up today if you want me too to tell him that you are staying with him. Just let me know if that works for you.

 

If the split would be a 50/50 that would be great! If anything else happens in between then let me know. I'll check the site one more time before I head out to Colorado. I would like to have someone's # out there just incase something happens on the drive down and I can get a hold of someone. So if any one can pm me a #. I would also like to get some matches in when I get down there.

 

Whatever happens before I go out I will let you guys know. Don't call it a sure thing with Branden until I know for sure. If you have to see if you can find him a few possible other people and it will be great to have a backup just in case.

Thanks for coming out Wallace. It was awesome playing your Wolf since we don't usually have any regular Wolf players here. I hope you had a good time and will come again. Sorry there was only 10 VF5 players there, but that's the CO scene for ya. Great games again and I hope you got home safe.

 

I enjoyed every minute of the VF 5. The fact that your scene is growing more than you think.

Everyone that helped me out, Texas Lion and juno synth for showing me high level of play, christian for having the desire to have the community to grow, sonny for not only showing me his VF skills; but his sick A mode in cap vs snk 2, the shun player, the Eileen player that you need to find and have part of the community he was the first person to challenge me alot better than I thought, the akira players; there were about 3 of them, the Goh player its always fun to teach new people how to use a character, a player that uses Wolf and El Blaze, the Sarah player, DFG helping me find my way through that one way hell that is Denver, and anyone else that I might have forgotten.
All in all good times and good VF.

DFG if you do this event next year try to get sponsors from a few restaraunts that way people don't have to go places for food and it will be smoother for you to run. Deffinately a fun event and something I wish we had in Utah.

 

Turns out that Eileen player was from out of state, that's why we didn't know him. I think his nick was PotatokisS. I don't know where he's from though.
