Combo Source for El Blaze (feel free to post)

Hi everyone.
This thread has the purpose to gather everything about El Blaze and make it the Ultimate source whether you're a beginner or a pro. I know that El Blaze's strategy wiki is awesome but the combos are a bit 'dusty', whatever.
Feel free to post and critic when something's missing or even wrong.

First off: Combo launcher, we all know them, we all love them.

El Blaze's ultimate launcher. Can be buffered from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif and shoots the opponent into the stratosphere.

Jumps over lows and some mids.

Since I play the PS3 version I cannot enjoy the frame bonus from this throw(PS3 = 18 frames, X360 = 15 frames). And I never really tried doing some crumple combos from it, so, here's your turn to post /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

The roll is nice to avoid throws and highs and when /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif connects you have the choice to combo.

Leaves the opponent with outstretched legs.


Let's start with the Volcano Knee.
Since it juggles your opponent very high you could perform a solid combo like (rising from a crouch)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. A bit trickier to pull off but still plain simplerising from a crouch)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif - (rising from a crouch)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. All in all, the commands from El Blaze are simple and he is a little Damage Machine.
If your opponent doesn't techroll from this combo various moves can hit him while he is on the ground.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is somehow my favourite combo launcher since it has this little "wow"-factor but also jumps over various attacks (the jackpot is when your opponent is naiv and really tries a low rising attack against El Blaze). Again you can do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif - (rising from a crouch)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif but more damage will /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif inflict(after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, ...).

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif headcrumbles the opponent and allows the "signature-move" /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. I would say you have the same options as above, but I would say the hit potential is somehow between (rising from a crouch)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is often seen(Ver.D) as launcher for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (something like that, had no chance to try it out yet). For those who don't want to make artistic moves /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif - BT /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a good choice and also has some Ring-Out potential.

Well, I cannot say much to (opponent crouches)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif because I never tried it but you can find some useful advices in the Low-Throw Thread in El Blazes Dojo.

I love the roll /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif thing and the best thing to do is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif after you shoot your opponent into the air. Again, some Ring-Out potential.

The(opponent crouches)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is a solid move (too bad it can be escaped easily) and gives you a opportunity to do a combo. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif for example is great if the opponent does not techroll but I'm sure there are some moves which hit them before he can do anything, never tried (sorry).
This move and of course the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif are suberb if you manage to do them after CH /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (which is of course also a Combo-Launcher).

EL Blaze combos and setup thread.
Feel free to contribute on that thread. Is old, but a lot of good stuff is there. Most of the stuff I've explained(Grenburgs, Namflow and YuuKun for instance) has already been cover that on that thread. I think is a good time to bring it back. Since your intrest in El Blaze is high, and plus, we need to keep the spirit of El Blaze on BLAST!
