Command Art True Type Font

I asked myself whether there is a True Type Font (.ttf) that has all the command arts (P, K, G and directions) in it which I could use for Word 2k7 or other word processors then for making great-looking lists, etc.

I know there is a VF3 font (I got it - but it's w/o the command icons). Does anyone know whether there is such a font available ?

 

why not just the wingding/symbol fonts or whatever,
and just mix the arrows from those with a font that
has the letters (p,k,g) with circles around them?

now if they have to be color and all that, well
that's alot more work..

if you feel like paying, the best way to go
is the 'arrow heaven' font..look around

That's one solution but it's a bit of hard work - I would also like a font like what Leonard suggested. Does anyone else know if a font exists? I use one called SWDEV07 at the moment, that has great direction arrows but uses SNK buttons in circles (A, B, C and D).

Lemme, can you upload your font somewhere? I could modify it if it already has great arrows in 'em by adding P, K, G.

 

With the help of Lemme's SNK font I was able to create the Virtua Fighter Commmand Art font fully usable as genuine True Type Font.

Use the numpad or numbers for the directions /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif (4) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif (6), etc. For neutral (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/n.gif) use 5 (number).

For the held directions use the WASD keys (usually for shooters). W,S,A,D = /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u_.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b_.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif. Q,E = /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/ub_.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf_.gif. ZX = /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db_.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif.

Use P,K and G or p, k and g for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif.

You can colorize P, K and G as well (in the word processor of your choice).

EDIT: For Virtua Fighter 3 and Virtua Fighter 6 I included the E-button (Evade) again [capital E key].

the p k g look a bit big. make em a bit smaller

 

I made the pointers/arrows a bit bolder so that they don't look lost next to the buttons. The font comes pretty close to the BradyGames Guide one now - if not better.

 

Did some more (and hopefully final) fine tuning to the font. I also added the symbol for a neutral stick position. Updated the download link as well.
