CRAWFISH BOIL! (Baton Rouge LA, Memorial Day weekend)

The fellas and I have decided to host a VF tourney & gathering & crawfish boil for the extended Memorial Day weekend (May 24, 25, 26)...That's Sat-Mon for those without a calendar handy.

The crawfish aka mudbug aka crawdad aka crayfish is a small crustacean (think tiny lobster) we South Louisianians love to boil with lots of seasoning & corn & potatoes & onions in big pots then eat with generous portions of beer.

Also, we've got a 900sq ft living room so if you don't feel like booking a hotel room we can easily accomidate you...just bring a sleeping bag or confidence in your ability to fight successfully for one of the couches.

We only have 1 PS2 & 3 TV's...so anyone who wants to bring a TV or their PS2 & evo would be appreciated.

If you are interested in attending please express such in this thread & feel free to PM me for details like address/directions/phone etc. As people throw their hats into the ring we'll solidify tourney format, prizes & whatnot.

I'm really bad at evo right now, but hopefully I'll get better by then.

also, you plan on playing anything besides evo?

 

Jedi: Yeah...I'm thinking probably 6 or 7 different kinds of fun, depending.

Shadow: There are games besides evo? Really though, no plans for anything else...I might boot up the saturn for some vf1/remix/2/kids...suffice it to say my house is all virtua fighter, all the time.

 

I wanted to bring this thread back to life as Memorial Day weekend approaches on the off chance it missed some people. VF. Crawfish. Beer. Some ladies maybe even probably. I shouldn't have to say much more than that.

maybe? probably? there will be ample numbers of both sexes (and maybe multiple genders) represented at this party. otherwise it just wouldn't be ice cold.

I had to say it because Senor IceCold thought it might be cute to imply something to that effect. After talking to him I realized (FINALLY!) that he's just a dumbass. So of this much you can be sure:

THERE WILL BE AT LEAST ONE DUMBASS AT THIS PARTY.
