1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Customisation items

Discussion in 'Console' started by KillerSkilller, Jul 21, 2012.

  1. Yesterday I brought myself VF5FS on xbox 360 and I've seen that to get the customisations items you must buy them for msp (why aren't they in game already). Problem is one customisation pack costs 400 msp for each character (19 overall) and 1200 msp for a bundle of 10 and bundle of 9 for 1200 msp as well. Well buying those 2 bundles is obviously a better deal. Strangely each pack is 1.9 gb and so are both whole bundle packs 1.9 gb as well. Anyway if I buy both bundles not the separate ones it's gonna be 3.8 gb. Shouldn't packs for only 1 character be much smaller in size (doesn't make sense downloading 19 packs each 1.9 gb

The customization packs are 90-163MB, depending on character. The game itself has 1955MB, so I guess you're looking at game alone 1,9GB or game plus all packs (complete edition) 1,9GB plus packs' MBs

  3. When I check on xbox live for example akira pack or sarah it says 1.9 gb and so does bundle 1 or bundle 2 both 1.9 gb as well

herp a derp, ofc not. Are there other bundles that have less than 1,9GB?

my theory is that when you download one pack, you're also downloading the data for the other packs, but only the ones you purchased will be usable. my proof for this theory involves my brother downloading the Lei-fei pack overnight once and it was almost 2 GB. then when i convinced him to buy the two bundles for the remaining packs, they all "downloaded" in literally 5 seconds. so, my guess is that all of the data was downloaded already when he purchased the Lei-fei pack but it got unlocked when he bought the bundles.

Dafuck, fortunetely I bought the Complete Edition, saved me a lot of hassle.

But why would it download the other data too? It would make sense if you could then see all character customizations but only use Lei-Fei's (but that's not the case)

    X360 and PS3 handle VF5:FS DLC differently.

PSN character DLC are separate files for each character.

On X360 your initial DLC will be 1.9GB which is the combined data for all characters. If you buy additional DLC it will simply unlock the character data.

submitting stuff to the XBL marketplace is hella expensive. for sega to create seperate packs for everything, submitting all of them would cost insane amounts of money. This way they only had to submit two products instead of like 20 something.
