Hands down the best Jacky vs Jacky match I've ever seen. Mask is always great to watch.

    8P beats up Jacky's elbow, P, dK. =P

    8's a damned good wolf =).

Watching him and that Kage though, the kage got ALL of his damage from the [3][P] combos... (I think thats the half circular high punch dodging one, right?).

8 got hit by it maybe 6 out of 8 times or so. I just wish I knew a reliable way to counter this move. Anyone have suggestions? How feasable is it to kick Kage out of it...? He can't be thrown, many mids and high attacks miss... is dodging the right direction basically the only way?

I think this move can be reversed. If you are an Akira, Aoi, or Vanessa player you can just reverse this move, I think?? I'm not too sure on this, I'll confirm this and get back to you.

heheh, sure, 8 is a good wolf!!
kage's 3P is a good move as u can see from this vid, best way to beat this move is use a mid move, like elbow or mid kick, it will give a stagger after...
for evade info, if u want evade his 3 p, u need evade to kage's back site.
for other info i think the frame for bloked 3 p is -6.

While it's fun to watch 8 play, and yes he did have good yomi, I think he did lots of misstakes in this clip aswell and his opponents up 'till Punch didn't adjust to well. But now he's the pimpgodfather of Wolf or something so I will probably get flamed for saying so, so fuck it.

    Interesting points about 8's play;

    1) He's totally ditched using Wolfs knee and goes for screwhooks always in p>throw / p>attack mixups... Which is odd cause his style is pretty abare imo (doing RN out of every stagger and using SS alot comes to mind).

    2) He also tries to do 9p hitthrow when he thinks a 2p is coming instead of LPC period.

    3) He doesn't whore Wolfs new sidekick (Thank god, I'm so sick of seing Wolfs / Brads do that) but plays Wolf proper highrisk / highpayoff style. THE WAY GOD INTENDED IT TO BE.

    Peace out / KiwE

Hey KTallguy, [3][P] is a great attack and one of Kage's main moves. The best way to beat the slap is to take advantage of it's slow execution--23 frames. For example, even if Kage is +6, a 17 frame knee would still win for big damage. This will teach the Kage player to be a little more careful in using the move.

The interesting thing about the slap is that if you use a 14/15-frame move to RN, Kage would actually have to be +8, or throw guaranteed advantage in order for the slap to win. Few Kages would waste a +8 opportunity for a slap.

The slap evades high attacks very well, and works best against people who like to [P] > nitaku. However, I wouldn't be too worried about the slap evading middle attacks; if it does it's because you're out of range. If the slap can hit you, your knee can hit Kage.

Oh, just to clarify (not that it really matters)

    I was refering to:

    [/ QUOTE ]

It was as if God himself told him to use that move... " now, my son... "

Quick question: I know what the other little playstyle icons mean, but what about the bull? Abare playstyle, perhaps?

On another note, the best VF moment that I've ever experienced occurred in the earlier match, at about 1:34. When Gorilla Lau got on the stick, his name was screamed out by the announcer so loudly that my ears started bleeding. This is accompanied by wild cheering from the crowd. Damn. You would never see that shit on this side of the pond.
