[DaKILLERBEAN] Boston VF

NYC has closest machine and im headed up the last week of this month. We can try to convince chinatown but we have a snowballs chance in hell.

Oh and one thing about losing interest..... i guarantee you that if you play us there will be no choice but to get better bacause this game is just that damn fun with good competition.

 

I think I might come back sometime this week. How many people will be playing? And are you guys just going to play VF?

Well, I take a bus, but I might take the train this time. Who knows? Driving it's like 4hrs or something.

Dobi... Shang, Hyun, (LittleTitan? come on dude!) and I and yes just VF. We are all solid players and welcome new people to play. I would love play Evo and if anyone has any ideas of how to get it here that'd be great. I personally am just waiting for the PS2 release so I don't know if it will be worth the trouble. Later.

Are we going to play this wednesday? I'm not driving though. I work at copley sq. perhaps I should meet you by the T after work? I'd need a ride home somehow if we do it at your place since I'm clueless.

Hi, I'm Fritz, and I'm a Street Fighter player who's getting into Virtua Fighter cause

A. VF is balanced as hell
B.I needed to play the best 3d game after playing mostly 2d fighters

So basically what I'm looking for is somebody to "train" with, cause after I learn a character, the CPU may not be challenging enough.

I just got VF4 evo. today, and I was just wondering if there were any players around Mattapan who can give me some hands on practice, cause...I no longer have a PS2, as of today as well. Long story, but I need a place to play, and maybe I'll teach you how to play Street Fighter in return. I'm a VERY quick learner, and I'm not just saying that. Peace

i always wanted to expand to 2d or even other games but i think it's best we deal with what we're most experience at(3d). I usually know how to get the word out and get an estimate of numbers for all the 3d games but 2d is just too unpredictable/more work. We should be able to get a huge turnout for SC2 cause it is currently the most played i think. t4 always has that underground following and ttt is always big in mass tourneys. vf4 evo if i work on getting the word out has a large underground too sort of. i'll have to head to the other sites and get the early word out too but for now I'd appreciate if you guys can help me out with word of mouth. ok, thanks in advance for the help. I'll just try to deliver the tournement.

I am new at this website but we have a small vf4 evo community in the western mass area(UMass). Shang, if you are the person I think you are then I remember you from UMass when you and Joe used to play vf3. People still play over here but not at the level it used to be. They renovated the arcade here and we got vf4 when it came out. There is a guy you might know named Hiro I think. He's a good player I'll see if i can get him to come too. Anyways, I'm hoping I can get the word out for whoever plays in the Boston area to come to this tournament. We have been running these tournements for the last two years for tekken and the last year for sc2. the tourney has become quite popular for these games and also tekken tag. This time as you can see I have added vf4 evo and i think we can get good numbers for this game too. I should be adding this to tournament announcements in february sometime. for now, plz help out with word-of-mouth if you can. I hope everyone can make it.
