What are your thoughts guys? (kinda spoilers below)

I gave it the Golden Seal of Approvalâ„¢...

At first I didn't like that the zombies were fast and could run ala 28 Days Later, but I think it worked well...

The violence and gore were top notch...

The baby was off the hook...

I was dissapointed they didn't play any games in the arcade... Would have had much better stuff to play than the crap that was in the original...

The "game" after chess with Andy was great!

Those trucks were sooooo badass... and chainsaw = ouch! /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Awesome movie, worthy of the title "Dawn of the Dead"

Entertaining from start to finish, and by finish I mean not only the end of the movie but the end of the !@#$in credits! I mean that was just awesome and every plot to twist was well done. The only things I might disapprove of were how quickly the chief security guard's personallity went from asshole to hero and the fact that the zombies dont want to eat the dog. In the older versions of the Dead series they ate animals and humans but thats just me nit picking.

Awesome movie 10 out of 10 stars.

ps. I hope Resident evil follows suit with an equally stunning movie experience.

well thats how it was in the og, and plus they aren't like fresh from a grave dead, they were all living, so why would they just lose all their muscle over the period of... 5 minutes to 2 hours depending on how they got infected, and luckly they didn't make it like night of the living dead, the zombies could drive /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i like how it was funny, but it can snap from funny to serious in a matter of 2 frames

and can someone answer this: was the guy that was first brought into the hospitial bitten in a bar fight, or at the marina? Because if he was bitten at the marina then that means that the virus orginated from the island, but if it was a bar fight, then i dont fucking know

and i feel bad for the leader guy, too bad his ass got bit, he could have lived happily ever after... until they got to the island then they were fucked

Richard Cheese sung that. I bought his album and its !@#$in awesome. He does lounge remixes of a lot of songs and even though its a short album its a very a good one. I recommend it to everyone. Loung against the machine!

EDIT: The album is called Tuxicity

Absolutely loved this film. One of the most thrilling tense hillarious and gory films I've ever seen.

Hate to say it, but it's a much much better film than the original. Although some fans didn't like it, I though speeding up the zombies was a good thing. They were fucking viscious in this remake, arguably more scary and menacing then the originals.

Best scene...........the detonation of the gas canister after they break out of the mall......superb!!

Well, I'll probably be the first to give a negative response, but I thought the original was WAY better. Don't get me wrong, but 3/5 MAX, the first one had this 'piss taking' out of consumerium that the second one seemed to 'praise' instead of take the piss. To be honest, I always found Day of the Dead much better anyway. Still good film, but I found Shaun of the Dead MUCH more enjoyable (And Funny!).

As we all know games that become movies are not so successful and movies that become games have the same destiny.... /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Additionally if you see biohazard 4, it has no zombies!!!

Right on Ade, Day is Romeros best work IMHO. Dawn is a close second but probably considered by many to be the best of the genre. The remake is good in its depiction of the sheer numbers of zombies and special effects but for me, by what I've seen it doesn't really compare to the original Dawn.
